Chapter 41: Fang Qiao finally came back.
Translator: Flying Lines
Fang Qiao had disappeared for ten days. He was not in his home, and his phone was turned off as well. Lu went to question Lin Yao one more time, but the guy seemed to really know nothing about it.
Fang had been an orphan without any relatives or friends, so where could he go? Lu had imagined various possibilities, which sounded more and more ridiculous. At first, Lu complained a lot for Fang’s leaving without explaining anything, but later his anger completely disappeared, and he just kept worrying about Fang.
Just when Lu was getting agitated, and almost on the verge of calling the police, he finally found Fang’s trace on his WeChat Moments.
Fang posted something on his WeChat Moment reading “Just returned from a wonderful journey”. The location was in Bali Island. There were nine photos by the sea below the post including pictures of scenery and selfies.
Finally, Lu got relieved!
He clicked them open and scanned each carefully twice. Fang smiled brightly in the photos, looking in a quite good mood.
Lu thought that the guy really had had a good time himself, but there were too many people on the beach, so he might take Fang to the private beach of his family next time.
Lu completely forgot that he was no longer the guy’s boss.
It was already midnight when Lu left a social occasion. He had planned to go home directly, but ordered his driver to change the direction halfway, and went to Fang’s home.
Lu didn’t know whether Fang had come back or not, so he just wanted to take a chance.
As soon as he arrived at Fang’s community, Lu looked up to find there was warm yellow light shining through the window of the tenth floor. Getting overjoyed, Lu went up immediately, and pressed the doorbell many times.
Soon the door was opened a little. Seeing it was Lu, Fang’s eyes shone unconsciously at first, but soon looked cold again.
“You’re back!” he unwittingly cracked a smile and sounded quite gentle.
Fang’s hand which was clutching the handle of the door tightened, and he replied without any expression on the face, “What’s up, Mr. Lu?”
Seeing Fang hide behind the door and didn’t intend to let him in, Lu got slightly annoyed, pushed the door open and squeezed in.
Fang…
It was not until Lu got in that he saw clearly Fang had just taken a bath. The guy wore a pair of Southeast Asian style beach shorts, and a large loose vest. His hair was casually tied up in a small bun because it was too long. He seemed fragrant and soft, and looked tasty!
Lu wanted to go up and hug the guy very much, but Fang had demanded him to leave, “Mr. Lu, we’re not in that kind of relationship already, so please leave if you have nothing important.”
Lu spoke nonsense shamelessly, “I forgot to take my key today, and the property agent said they couldn’t find anybody to open the door until tomorrow. I have no place to go, so let me stay here for the night.” Then he lay down on the sofa in the living room comfortably.
Fang got annoyed, “Well, Mr. Lu, with so many lovers, you definitely can find another place for the night. Why do you insist staying at my place?”
Lu raised his head, looked Fang in the eyes, and replied seriously, “I don’t have any lovers, and if any, it’s only you.”
Fang’s heart beat violently for the moment, and he didn’t know how to respond. He simply ignored him, and escaped to his bedroom quickly, locking the door without caring about what Lu would do.
The former boss was just left outside of the bedroom. Lu had to lie on the sofa for the whole night with his long legs bent, and he could hardly straighten up the next day he woke up.
Having got up early, Fang was already preparing breakfast in the kitchen. Lu felt terrible all over because he didn’t take a shower last night after drinking. He went to ask Fang’s permission to use his bathroom.
Fang didn’t reply and Lu took it as a yes. But the guy shouted shortly after he went in, “I didn’t take any clothes to get changed. Give me a pair of short pants.”
Fang couldn’t help but find a new underwear from his wardrobe, and threw it into the bathroom.
After a while, the sound of water stopped. Lu came out, wearing only Fang’s underwear. It was quite obvious that the size was just too small for Lu. There was a big bulge in the lower, and the V-line abs were perfectly exposed till the triangular part.
It was too damn sexy, and Fang immediately ran back to the kitchen with his face burning after a quick glance.
Seeing Fang flee with embarrassment in a rush, Lu laughed so hard that the shirts in his hand dropped to the ground.
He stooped to pick it up, and happened to notice a couple of magazines under the bed. He pulled them out to have a look, and found himself on the familiar covers.
Lu came to understand everything at once. He thought the guy was just so double-faced and pretended to draw a clear line with him, but was secretly collecting his photos.
Thinking he had seen through Fang’s secret, Lu got proud. When he put on his clothes, and came out, Fang had just taken out the breakfast he made. A cup of milk, a fried-egg, and a piece of scallion pancake. Clearly just for one person.
“Nothing for me, huh?” Lu asked.
“Make by yourself if you want breakfast,” Fang sounded very cold.
Since Lu had a meeting in the morning, and had to go to the company quickly, he didn’t stay any longer, and was about to leave after changing shoes.
Lu had expected Fang to let him stay for a longer time, but he didn’t hear anything from the guy until he walked out of the door. Lu closed the door in disappointment.
Lu hadn’t gone far before the door behind him opened again. Fang popped his head out from inside.
“See, the guy is unwilling to part with me.” Lu cleared his throat, and prepared himself well to pretend restrained and polite, but heard Fang say, “Could you please take the rubbish down for me?”
Lu: …
