Avoid the Protagonist! - Chapter 120
Ch.120 Accident (3)
After Chen Sinan went into the ward, Weng Yinlin held Xin Siyue’s hands and make her sit next to her. “Don’t worry, I know A Nan’s personality very well. He’s not the kind of man who’s fickle in love. She assured Xin Siyue.
Xin Siyue replied with a smile and remained silent.
Whether or not he’s that kind of person, she didn’t dare to say. But she suddenly realized that she didn’t want Chen Sinan to interact with Sheng Wenyang at all. Although she knew nothing would happen between them, she was still unwilling.
Xin Siyue smiled bitterly inside. When did her desire to possess Chen Sinan become so strong?
Chen Sinan stood in front of the bed, looking at the fragile Sheng Wenyang who blinked her eyes at him. “I’ll investigate the accident and I’ll take care of all the expenses incurred during your recovery.” He said while avoiding her eyes.
“A Nan…”
“As of Xin Siyue, she was also terrified. We’ll discuss about the specifics after you’re fully recovered, or you can tell your assistant to negotiate with us.”
Sheng Wenyang suddenly cried. “She crashed into me. I’m the person on this bed. Why are you so quick to defend her?
“Why would she crash into you when she just arrived at Sheng Jin City? Sheng Wenyang, don’t you think it’s too coincidental?”
“I also want to know! Why am I the person lying here and not her! If she’s the one lying here, I will compensate her all the money she wants and cover all her expenses without any complaints! But Chen Sinan, I suffered such a severe injury, do you not have any console for me?”
“Go rest.”
“Chen Sinan! Chen Sinan!”
“It’s not possible between the two of us. Stop persisting. If I find out that you want to harm her, I think I will make you die in a horrible way.” Chen Sinan turned around and walked towards the door. But the harsh and cruel words were heard completely by Sheng Wenyang.
She was half dead but he wouldn’t give her words of pity or sympathy at all?
Heh. Sheng Wenyang, do you know how pitiful you are right now?
The next few days, Xin Siyue would visit her in the hospital everyday. However, Sheng Wenyang would close the door on her. Xin Siyue knew that she didn’t want to see her so she stopped.
Though Sheng Wenyang didn’t want to see Xin Siyue, she ended up letting Weng Yinlin in when she visited two days later.
Seeing that she recovered pretty good, Weng Yinlin directly said, “If I were you, I would choose the wise path.”
Sheng Wenyang looked at her and didn’t say anything. She felt hurt, however.
“I’m my son’s mother so I naturally know who he likes. Whatever he has decided on, besides him, no one else can change his decision. Rather than setting your eyes on my son, you might as well open yourself up to new possibilities.”
“Heh, what a coincidence. I am just like your son. No one else can change my decision except for myself.”
Weng Yinlin laughed and said, “It’s because you guys are alike in many ways so you guys can’t be together. With similar personalities, you guys are bound to fight one day. With different personalities, they can complement one another. You’re not suitable.”
“Then Xin Siyue is suitable?”
“More suitable than you.”
“Then can you please leave?”
“I don’t like seeing you either. I’m just advising you out of my kind heart. You can’t intervene between him and Xin Siyue. You can take your time to think about this. Oh, right. Isn’t Mo Family’s grandson interested in you? I heard that the elders of Mo Family are anxious and introducing him many wealthy young ladies. Watermelon or sesame. You can decide which one you want.”
Sheng Wenyang was infuriated but there’s nothing she could do.
She didn’t want to see anyone but Chen Sinan. But he never came.
Now that Weng Yinlin reminded her, she suddenly remembered. Ever since she was in a car accident, Mo Bei never came to visit her. Could he really be busy with the blind dates? He didn’t even have time for her?
Thinking here, Sheng Wenyang felt a headache.
Xin Siyue also had a headache.
Jiang Lan agreed to the interview. She was busy proofreading the script. In actuality, she liked to improvise even more. So the content was mostly the questions they would be interviewing her on.
But the main point was that she wasn’t satisfied no matter what. Plus, she hadn’t been sleeping well these few days. She seemed more anxious and irritated than usual.
Xin Siyue and Gu Tong were chatting. When they spoke of this, Gu Tong said, “Could it be the repercussions of the car accident?”
Xin Siyue felt helpless. “Sister, I wasn’t injured!”
“Maybe you’re heartbroken.”
“What?”
