The golden fruit was different from the golden herb as it was infused with more gold energy, thus meaning it would take more time to absorb the energy from it.

Flower Fairy nodded and went outside of the cave to protect him from being interrupted.

Qingfeng Li sat down in the cave with his legs crossed. He took the Golden Fruit and put it in his mouth, hoping to absorb it by eating it.

But he felt his tooth aching as soon as he took a bite. It was so hard that biting it almost broke his tooth.

Different from other spirit fruits, the golden fruit was as hard as gold so there was no way to eat it. Qingfeng Li wasn’t very happy about it.

He put the golden fruit on his legs and started his refinement process. Qingfeng Li started to absorb the golden power from the fruit with his fourth level Mortal Purgatory Body.

The immense power of gold went into his body through his skin and pores, refining his skin, muscle, veins, and bones. His power became stronger as the light gold color of his body deepened.

“This Golden Fruit is unusual because it contains much more gold energy,” Qingfeng Li exclaimed while he was taking in its energy.

He transferred all the gold energy from the fruit to himself in two hours.

The gold energy in Qingfeng Li’s body was only as big as the size of a pea before he started. It had become the size of a quarter, which was five times its original size.

The gold energy, as the sharpest energy of all, could cut through anything in the world.

Qingfeng Li stood up and his body made a cracking sound. He probed the fruit to check that he had taken in all the gold energy.

He slightly opened his mouth and a coin-sized mass of gold energy appeared in his mouth. He suddenly spat the energy out, directly penetrating a hole through the stone right in front of him.

Qingfeng Li was glad to find that gold energy could be used for sneak attacks.

He had many moves in his repertoire now, including the Red Fiery sword techniques, the Strangle Hell Fist as an unarmed fighting technique, the Conqueror’s Finger, and the Dragon Steps as a movement technique.

However, the golden aura was different in that it can be shot from his mouth. This can be his secret attacking move.

Qingfeng Li walked out of the cave with a light golden color surrounding his body. He shone like a piece of gold in the sun, giving out heated rays of light.

“You’ve became even stronger,” Flower Fairy tilted her red lips as her pretty eyes opened up wide in surprise.

He smiled and kept walking towards the center of the Golden Island with Flower Fairy. Black Puppy, and Sky-Devourer Snake following behind.

Black Puppy and Sky-Devourer Snake used to be enemies and so, every now and again, they would still quarrel or fight.

Black Puppy would slap Sky-Devourer Snake with his paw and Sky-Devourer Snake would smack its tail at Black Puppy in return,

A loud sound came from the center of the Golden Island as a hill exploded. A thousand-meter ray of gold shot into the sky like a small sun, brightening the entire sky and blinding everyone’s eyes.

“A treasure has appeared,” Qingfeng Li murmured in excitement.

The gold energy being released was at least a few thousands of times more intense than the Golden Herb and the Golden Fruit.

Qingfeng Li narrowed his eyes and noticed a golden vine in the crack of the hill.

The vine was over two meters’ tall and was giving off golden rays of light. It seemed like it was attacked by something because there were many cuts on the vine, leaking a bright golden sap.

A 20-centimeter long golden calabash was hanging under the vine. It was emitting a golden aura and looked like it was containing concentrated golden energy

“Golden Calabash. It is a king-level spiritual device, the Golden Calabash,” Fire Dragon’s voice echoed in Qingfeng Li’s head.

“What? A Golden Calabash?” Qingfeng asked through his thoughts.

Fire Dragon said after some silence, “It belonged to a master of the Spirit King Realm back in the ancient times. The strong gold energy can rip through the body of whoever is beneath the Spirit King realm.”

“Oh, and before I forget, this Spirit King Realm master later cultivated to the Immortal Realm. However, he was killed by those invaders from other planets in the ancient war.”

“This Golden Island was where the Golden Saint cultivated and the Golden Calabash was his King-level spiritual device,” Fire Dragon said in a deep voice as he felt sorry for the Golden Immortal’s death.

Qingfeng Li decided that since it was the spiritual device of an immortal, he definitely had to get it.
