With his Primordial Sky Staff out, Huntian Sun smashed at the Ice Dragon as well.

The two godly beasts, Black Puppy and Sky-Devouring Snake, both shot their superpower attacks at the Ice Dragon – one shot out a beam of black light, and the other, a black whirlpool.

Having felt the attacks, the Ice Dragon wanted to retaliate and protect itself, but it was already injured, so its defense abilities and responsiveness were significantly hindered.

A powerhouse of the Spirit King Realm like Qingfeng Li definitely had the ability to pose a threat to it.

Waving its tail in the air, the Ice Dragon created an arc in the air in an attempt to deflect Qingfeng Li’s Golden Light Sword.

It had the feeling that out of all the attackers, Qingfeng Li was the most powerful, because it felt an immense energy exuding from his entire body.

Boom!

The “Sword Energy Mountains and Rivers” technique clashed with the dragon’s tail, creating a giant boom in the air, forcing Qingfeng Li’s body to fly backward.

The Ice Dragon was indeed strong; although badly injured, Qingfeng Li still couldn’t defeat it.

Of course, Qingfeng Li’s attacks worked as well; when he attacked the Ice Dragon, it retaliated.

When it did so, the Black Tortoise seized the opportunity and lashed out with its claws at the Ice Dragon, poking a giant hole in the Ice Dragon’s abdomen as fresh blood spurted out.

From the other directions, the attacks of Ziyue Jiang, Sky-Devouring Snake, and Black Puppy worked as well, causing the scales on the Ice Dragon to begin falling off.

There’s an old saying that went: “Even the king of all tigers cannot defeat a pack of wolves”. The same went for the Ice Dragon;

Had the Ice Dragon been uninjured, the group wouldn’t have been a match against it. The Ice Dragon, a symbol of undefeatable power, was one of the most powerful mythical beast between the heavens and earth. Mot even saints were able to kill it.

But now, its severe injuries gave the Black Tortoise, Qingfeng Li, and the others a chance to pile on the attacks and bleed it out.

While battling Qingfeng Li, the Ice Dragon was cautious because it was worried about his Golden Flames.

The Ice Dragon didn’t know when Qingfeng Li would use the flames to kill it.

“Damn this Black Tortoise and Qingfeng Li, just wait! I will definitely be back one day,” facing the group, the Ice Dragon spoke in resentment.

Then, it spat out a mouthful of blood essence, which turned into a huge gust of power that boosted its body. With the blink of an eye, it retreated and disappeared into the space-time tunnel.

One must know that normal mystical beasts could not enter the space-time tunnel, because the tunnel could suppress the power of self-cultivators above the saint realm and other powerful creatures. Anything that entered the space-time tunnel will be constrained and attacked by dimensional fragments and shards.

However, to survive, the Ice Dragon had no choice but to burn its own spiritual blood and enter the tunnel.

Qingfeng Li the Ice Dragon as it retreated into the space-time tunnel. He could still faintly see its feeble body.

As soon as the Ice Dragon’s entered the tunnel, it felt the attack of the space shards. Great energy exploded from the shards, causing major damage to the dragon and causing it to bleed massively. Its scales continued falling off.

In addition, the tunnel constrained the dragon’s powers, so it could do nothing to defend itself against the attacks.

Qingfeng Li saw as the space shards inside the space-time tunnel chop off the Ice Dragon’s tail.

Not only was the Ice Dragon badly injured, its tail, the most important part of its body, had been cut off. With its powers greatly diminished it became extremely vulnerable, if Qingfeng Li had been there, he could have killed it immediately. Therefore, it was lucky enough to at least survive.

Had the Ice Dragon chosen not to enter the space tunnel, it would have been killed by Qingfeng Li and the Black Tortoise.

The space-time tunnel slowly began to close, finally disappearing into thin air.

Qingfeng Li turned his head towards the Black Tortoise, “How can we get out of here?”

The Black Tortoise smiled faintly, “You arrived at the bottom of the ocean on the Ice Island, I’ll just elevate it to the surface; then you’ll be able to leave.”

“Thank you very much.” Qingfeng Li bowed at the Black Tortoise in appreciation.

He knew that only the power of saints could bring this island to the surface, and the Black Tortoise was the only one amongst the group of them who could do it.

Qingfeng Li, Xiyue Jiang, Yafei Bing, Black Puppy, Sky-Devouring Snake, and the others went atop the island along with all the other self-cultivators.

Rumble!

A wave of deafening noise erupted from the bottom of the ocean – with Black Tortoise’s power, the white island began floating up towards the surface of the ocean.

A powerful black veil emitted from the Black Tortoise, covering the entire island so that no water could seep through.

Underneath, the Black Tortoise held out its paw and tapped the bottom of the island, sending it soaring up to the surface.

The seawater was blocked by the veil, unable to enter the protective bubble.

Qingfeng Li and the others stared at the seawater outside in awe and excitement.

Last time, they sunk to the bottom of the ocean from the surface; now, they were returning to the surface. The process was similar, but the feeling was different.

“Xue Lin, wait for me, I’m coming back.” Qingfeng Li murmured, his expression softening as he thought of her.
