Pale-faced, Flower Fairy used her palm to block the sharp fingernails, but it was useless.

The claw pierced Flower Fairy’s palm of vital essence and reached only three centimeters away from her face. The next moment, they would eviscerate her cheeks.

Flower Fairy’s expression changed sharply with anxiety. Although she cared about her beauty since she was a woman, the claw threatened to do much worse than just leave a scar.

“Brother Li, you escaped from Hell!” Flower Fairy said excitedly.

Qingfeng Li nodded, saying, “Yes, I did. All of you back off. These hell ghosts are formed by the dark aura of Hell and I will deal with them with my Fire Emperor Sword Techniques.

“Fire River.” He hacked forward Fire Emperor Sword abruptly, which transformed into a giant river of flames.

The Fire River was thousands of meters long, full of burning magma and tumbling fires, burning the whole sky until nothing remained.

The raging fires entered the black mist and burned it into blue smoke that dissipated into the air.

In the depth of the blue smoke, a black hell ghost glared at Qingfeng Li with killing intent in its eyes.

“Human, you dared to wound me. I will kill you.” The hell ghost slashed its sharp claws at Qingfeng Li in anger.

“Since you’re asking for your death, I will grant your wish.” Qingfeng Li smiled coldly, killing intent flashing in his eyes.

With a thought, he took out the Thunder Pearl from his interspatial ring.

It was the size of an egg, but it contained thousands of lightning runes that were flashing inside. Qingfeng Li’s current spirit energy had reached the Spirit Emperor Realm and thus, he could control 100 bolts of lightning, which were one third of the content of the Thunder Pearl.

Qingfeng Li mumbled a chant and ten bolts of red lightning shot out from the pearl.

They struck the hell ghost, burning it into a puff of blue smoke that vanished into the air. Lightning was the natural enemy of all hell ghosts and evil existences, and this was exemplified by the hell ghost dying, without leaving even a fragment of its soul behind.

“Big Brother Li, you are amazing!” Flower Fairy said excitedly, giving Qingfeng Li a thumbs-up.

Qingfeng Li smiled slightly, saying, “We must leave here now. More hell ghosts may appear any second because this is the entrance to Hell.”

Nodding, the group left with Qingfeng Li, who killed all the other hell ghosts on their way out.

Equipped with thunder and lightning, none of the Hell ghosts were a match for Qingfeng.

One hour later, he led the group to a dense forest which was one thousand kilometers away from the entrance to Hell. A deep cliff was on one side of the forest and roars of demonic beasts could be heard from the depth of the black hedges.

Qingfeng Li asked Black Puppy, “Puppy, did Mengyao Fu and Linger Yao come out?”

Black Puppy looked puzzled and in a small voice it said teasingly, “Tell me, Qingfeng Li, what are the two women to you and why are you so concerned about them?”

Qingfeng Li slapped Black Puppy on the head, saying coldly, “Quit the chit chat. Tell me if they left Hell or not.”

Black Puppy took issue with the slap. It curled its lips and ignored Qingfeng Li’s question.

Qingfeng Li turned to ask Sky-Devouring Snake, “Did you see Linger Yao and Mengyao Fu come out?”

Afraid of being slapped, Sky-Devouring Snake said, “They came out of the depths of Hell long ago.”

Qingfeng Li was relieved at Sky-Devouring Snake’s answer.

He led the group forward until they came to a set of ruins.

The large ruins in the Kunlun Mountains used to be a palace of the Sword Saint Sect, and it had been destroyed by foreign immortals during the ancient era.

“You wait for me here. I’m going in there to see a person.” Qingfeng Li gestured the group to wait outside.

He walked toward the ruins which were made of shattered stone pillars that seemed to belong to a palace, and the rocks and tiles were everywhere on the floor.

Large amounts of sword energies shot out from the ruins, keeping humans out.

As a cultivator of sword techniques, Qingfeng Li was familiar with the sword energy and dodged the attacks by shifting slightly to the left.

Chapter 1357: Sword Emperor Wushuang Nie

 

While Qingfeng Li walked toward the ruins, the sword energy continued launching forceful attacks at him.

Like a swimming fish, Qingfeng Li dodged all the attacks.

“Uncle Nie, are you in there?” Qingfeng Li called to the ruins.

No one answered him except the sweeping sword energy.

“Is it possible that Uncle Nie is not here?” Qingfeng Li murmured with a frown.

The last time Qingfeng Li came to the Forbidden District of Kunlun Mountain, he had met his Uncle Nie, who was studying sword arts with his master, the ancient Sword Saint. Qingfeng Li wondered why he was not here.

Frowning, Qingfeng Li continued forward. The sword energy formed sharp daggers sweeping in the air, shattering everything around him.

It got more intense when he walked further. Despite his fast speed, Qingfeng Li was wounded by the sword energy, which cut through his clothes and left a slash in his body.

But Qingfeng Li had cultivated the Mortal Purgatory Body, which provided him with powerful healing abilities. Thus, the sword wounds quickly healed themselves.

After one hour of walking, Qingfeng Li saw a pond.

His eyes snapped into focus and realized that it wasn’t actualy a pond of water, but a pond of sword energy. A vast amount of sweeping sword energy filled the pit.

In the pond stood a handsome middle-aged man. With a chiseled face and bushy black eyebrows, the man stood there with a sword in his hand, giving off an overwhelming presence which shot up into the sky.

Qingfeng Li was pleased to see that the man in the pond was none other than his Uncle Nie.

Seeming to have sensed his presence, Wushuang Nie turned his head and said, “Qingfeng, how come you are here?”

Qingfeng Li said with a smile, “Uncle Nie, I am here to visit you.”

With a smile, Wushuang Nie walked out of the pond and all the sword energy in the pond transformed into a dragon and entered his body.

Qingfeng Li’s expression changed. He asked, “Uncle Nie, you became a Sword Emperor?”

Smiling, Uncle Nie nodded, “Yes. I have gotten the inheritance of the sword saint and have reached the Sword Emperor Realm.”

Qingfeng Li said happily, “Congratulations, Uncle Nie.”

“Qingfeng, why are you here in the Forbidden District of the Kunlun Mountains?” Wushuang Nie asked, bafflement in his voice.

“Uncle Nie, I am here to search for the Saint Perishing Fruit,” Qingfeng explained.

Wushuang Nie’s expression changed sharply at Qingfeng Li’s words. He had been living in the ruins of the Kunlun Mountains and had inherited the sword arts of the Sword Saint, so he naturally knew what Hell was like. It was a dangerous place with ancient almighty ferocious beasts. No one could come out of there unscathed, even him.

Besides, there were fierce ghosts and the Acheron River under the third layer of Hell.

Wushuang Nie tried to dissuade him, “Qingfeng, you can’t go in there. Hell is very dangerous, and no one can come out alive.”

Qingfeng just smiled, saying, “Uncle Nie, I just came out of Hell with the Saint Perishing Fruit.”

“You came out alive?!” Wushuang Ni was a little stunned actually.

A short while ago, in the sky above Hell, some shadows of ancient fierce beasts and ancient immortals fought each other in the River of Time that surrounded Hell’s entrance.

Wushuang Nie thought about checking it out, but before he was near them, he was bounced back by the space-time force released from the River of Time.

He wondered how Qingfeng Li entered Hell and acquired the Perish Immortal Fruit while he himself couldn’t even get near it.

Seeing the puzzlement in Wushuang Nie’s eyes, Qingfeng Li smiled and told him how he got Saint Perishing Fruit.

Hearing Qingfeng Li’s story, Wushuang Nie sighed with appreciation that the pupil had surpassed the teacher.

He had not expected Qingfeng Li to achieve something that he couldn’t even do himself.

“Qingfeng, how are you doing with your sword techniques? Try them on me.” Wushuang Nie said.

He had reached Sword Emperor Realm which was also the Spirit Emperor Realm, and it was hard to find someone to test his sword techniques agaisnt here in the ruins of the Forbidden District of the Kunlun Mountains. Very few beings visited this place, other than demon beasts.

Qingfeng Li nodded and drew out his Fire Emperor Sword, saying, “Uncle Nie, you can attack first.”

“Little brat, you belittle your uncle by asking me to attack first. Well, I will see how powerful you are now,” Wushuang Nie teased him.

He drew out a blue sword with a width of two and a half fingers and a length of one meter. On the surface of the sword was engraved some patterns of grass and foliage.

They were not enscriptions of ordinary green grass but actually were of spirit grass containing unrivaled sword energy. The sword aura shooting out of it could pierce the sky and shake the world.

Wushuang Nie slashed his sword forward and shot a piece of sword energy grass which multiplied to two pieces, then three, then ten pieces, eventually reaching hundreds of pieces that surrounded Qingfeng and attacked him from all directions.

With a faint smile, Qingfeng Li swung his sword, forming a blazing elephant several kilometers in height. The elephant stepped downward hard and shattered all the sword energy grass.

“Uncle Nie, my sword techniques are not too bad, right?” Qingfeng Li said.

Smiling slightly, Wushuang Nie didn’t answer.

The next moment, the shattered sword energy grass appeared again, but bigger in size. They grew from dozens of centimeters, to several meters, to a dozen meters, and finally to over one hundred meters high, surrounding Qingfeng Li once again.

Qingfeng Li’s expression changed, saying, “That’s impossible. I just shattered them.”

Qingfeng Li launched another attack at the sword energy grass. But this time, he couldn’t break the grass because they were extremely hard.

For the first time Qingfeng Li’s expression changed. He felt he had entered the world of sword energy.

All around him, everything was formed by sword energy, including the grass, flowers, rocks, mountains, rivers, and even the air. The sun and the earth underneath him also appeared to be formed by sword energy.

Standing in the center of the sword energy, his clothes were cut open, his arms, legs and all other places were wounded, and blood began to ooze from the wounds. His face turned pale with pain.

Chapter 1358: Comprehending Fifty-Percent of Sword Intent

 

“Qingfeng, you lost?” said Wushuang Nie as he looked at Qingfeng.

Qingfeng said, “Uncle Nie I want to know what sort of sword technique this is! Why is it so powerful?”

Wushuang Nie shook his head and said, “This isn’t sword technique. It is sword intent.”

“Sword intent.” Qingfeng gradually realized after he heard Wushuang.

He had some understanding of sword intent and knew that it was much more powerful than sword techniques. It was able to transform all the surroundings into sword intent, and trap one’s opponent within an illusion, not allowing them to escape.

“Uncle Nie, what is this sword intent and why is it so powerful?” Qingfeng asked.

Wushuang Nie smiled and said, “This is Grass Sword Intent. Everything that exists has a soul, like a stalk of grass. Even a flower can form sword intent and release great attacks, even though it is but a plant.”

Wushuang Nie told Qingfeng more of sword intent knowledge, including how to form sword intent and control it, and also how to unleash sword intent attacks.

Qingfeng stood beside the sword energy pond and learned the sword intent along with Wushuang Nie. They practiced different sword techniques, but the principles behind sword intent were all connected.

Qingfeng was a quick learner. He had already understood 20% of sword intent, but with Wushuang’s guidance, he was able to quickly master 50%.

He flourished the Fire Emperor Sword in his hands and charged forward. A red flame formed, different from the flames that he released before, because this time, it contained rays of sword intent.

Wushuang felt his surroundings, the sky, ground, air, rocks, and rivers had all been engulfed in flames. The blaze contained intense temperature that burnt the air, his body boiling red like a lobster.

Wushuang wiped off the sweat on his forehead and said, “Qingfeng, your talent is too powerful! You’ve already mastered half of the sword intent only after a short while.”

Qingfeng smiled and said, “Uncle Nie, that is only thanks to your teachings.”

Qingfeng invited Wushuang to leave with him, but Wushuang shook his head in refusal. He told Qingfeng that he had to stay here and continue to train.

“Uncle Nie, I will leave you alone to train more. I’ll leave first, so thank you for all your help.” Qingfeng thanked Wushuang, then waved his hands and left.

Qingfeng arrived outside the ruins, where the Wolf Fang Team and the others were all waiting for him.

“Boss, your powers have increased again!” exclaimed Daoist as he felt the great energy emitting off of Qingfeng’s body.

Qingfeng nodded, and said, “Daoist, I remember that I promised your master if I ever came to the forbidden Kunlun district, I would rescue your ancestral master who was trapped there.”

Daoist’s eyes filled with joy as he said, “Boss, I came here especially under my master’s wishes. He hopes to rescue my ancestral master, who is trapped underneath Dthe aogong Mountain.”

“Come, let’s head to Daogong Mountain.” Qingfeng led everyone towards the new destination.

Daogong Mountain was a massive mountain inside of the Kunlun area, and it was one of the three major mountains of the forbidden Kunlun Mountain district. It used to be an important pillar of Daoism in the ancient era, and like the Dragon Tiger Mountain, it was one of their main forces.

The Monk’s ancestral master came here to seek treasures, but was unfortunately trapped.

Not long after Qingfeng left, he stopped because he saw someone before him, and that person was Linger Yao.

Linger Yao was fighting with Jianhuang Zhao. Since Jianhuang had acquired the Immortal’s Sutra, he became incredibly powerful, and could make Linger retreat several steps.

“You wait here, I’ll go help Linger,” Qingfeng told the others to stay there, and he moved forward himself.

In front, Jianhuang held his long sword, every sword slash able to tear a crack through the Heavens and Earth, containing invincible power.

Linger Yao was in the Spirit Emperor Realm and inherited the Fire Emperor’s legacy. But, Jianhuang’s power was only the Spirit Emperor Realm. He had yet to reach immortal realm, so his techniques were limited.

However the Immortal’s Sutra was different, it was the self-cultivation technique that ancient immortals trained in. After Jianhuang had acquired this technique, he became invincible.

“Linger Yao, you had blocked me when I tried to kill Qingfeng. Consider your death today the payment for obstructing me,” Jianghuang looked at Linger and said with murderous intent.

In the Forbidden Kunlun District, if it weren’t for Linger’s help from before, Jianhuang would have already killed Qingfeng.

Linger’s beautiful face grew pale due to the large consumption of vital essence. She had already fought Jianhuang for a while now, and had lost plenty of energy. If she wasn’t train in the Fire Emperor techniques, Jianhuang would have already killed her by now.

Linger Yao remained calm, she didn’t waste a word with Jianhuang nor beg for mercy, because there was no way Jianhuang would let her go anyways.

She waved her palm and a massive vital essence palm formed that blocked the sun and the entire sky. It charged downwards in attempt to squash Jianhuang Zhao.

Jianhuang didn’t care at all, and with a pierce of his longsword, a ray of golden light shot out. The golden light tore through the sky and immediately shattered the massive palm into golden pieces that disappeared in the air.

“Linger Yao, don’t waste your breath, you’re not my opponent. I’ve already reached the first level of the Immortal’s Sutra. You can’t beat me,” Jianhuang Zhao said with arrogant pride.

He charged forward with his sword, his sword energy shooting out golden rays everywhere. It pierced a bloody hole in Linger’s arm as her blood poured out.

Linger’s face grew pale, she thought to herself, “I have to leave or else I’m going to die!”

Jianhuang Zhao already saw through Linger Yao’s thoughts. “Do you want to run? You can’t escape, I’ve already set traps everywhere, and there’s the sky cloud array formation.”

Linger Yao’s face changed when she heard the four words, and she looked around and saw countless vitality stones that formed a cloud-like shape, preventing her from escaping.

Jianhuang Zhao waved his long sword and attacked Linger as she continuously retreated and spat out blood. Her body was already deeply wounded.

Qingfeng just happened to see the wounded Linger Yao when he arrived. His face changed and his eyes grew cold.

“Damn Jianhuang, how dare you hit Linger? You’re asking for it.” Qingfeng smiled coldly as he walked forward.

Suddenly, Qingfeng stopped in his track and mumbled to himself, “There’s actually a defense array formation?”

“How ridiculous, you want to stop me with merely an array formation?” Qingfeng pulled out his Fire Emperor Sword on him and charged forcefully forward.

His Fire Emperor Sword released great red flame sword energy, and it contained invincible energy. With one slash of the sword, it tore open a large crack in the sky cloud array formation, destroying numerous array formation talisman scripts and vitality stones.

Chapter 1359: Sixth Fist – Shattering the Void

 

Both Jianhuang Zhao and Linger Yao turned when they heard the sound of the array formation’s destruction, suddenly seeing that Qingfeng was approaching.

Linger Yao’s face changed slightly, her large eyes betrayed her shock and complex feelings.

She hadn’t seen Qingfeng after the last time they parted. Now that they finally met, her feelings were muddled and she didn’t know how to express it.

Qingfeng looked at Linger Yao with complex feelings as well. As he stared at her quietly, he was reminded of a lot of things.

When Jianhuang Zhao saw the two gazing at each other and ignoring him as if he was invisible, he turned green in anger.

He looked at Qingfeng and said coldly, “Qingfeng, how did you escape Hell? Regardless, I will still kill you today.”

Qingfeng smiled coldly and said, “Kill me? You? I don’t think so.”

“Really? I’ve mastered the first stage of the Immortal’s Sutra, so I’ll show you my powers today!” Jianhuang shouted loudly and swung his longsword towards Qingfeng, golden sword energy coursing through the air.

The golden sword energy was infused with hints of immortal energy. It tore through the air between them, shook the sky, shattered space, and reversed the laws of reality as it suddenly appeared before Qingfeng.

“I want to see how powerful this immortal sword technique is.” Qingfeng waved his Fire Emperor Sword and charged forward as a Flame Mountain was conjured before him.

Instantly, Qingfeng’s Flame Mountain was pierced through by Jianhuang Zhao’s golden sword energy, turning into small flame sparks and disappearing into the air.

Deng deng!!

Qingfeng’s body was pushed back by two steps, his sword hand trembling slightly. He had to unleash his Mortal Purgatory Body to stabilize himself.

“This immortal sword technique truly is no joke, it even defeated my Fire Emperor Sword Technique.” Qingfeng’s face grew dark, as he spoke to himself.

“Ha ha ha, you’re no match against me Qingfeng, I’ll chop you to pieces today,” Jianhuang angrily spat at Qingfeng.

Jianhuang was furious with Qingfenh, wanting to kill him more than anything.

Qingfeng put the Fire Emperor Sword back into the interspatial ring. He knew the Fire Emperor Sword technique was very powerful, but it was only an emperor level sword technique and was still vastly different from the immortal sword technique.

Qingfeng decided to use his Mortal Purgatory Body, because the Strangle Hell Fist technique could reach the immortal level.

The Strangle Hell Fist Technique had nine skills, but Qingfeng had only trained in the first five and still hadn’t acquire the other four yet. Today was a great opportunity, since he could use Jianhuang Zhao to help him reach train the new techniques.

“Qingfeng, you’ve put away your long sword, do you want to die faster?” Jianhuang said to Qingfeng coldly.

Qingfeng reached out his finger and pointed at Jianhuang with arrogance, saying, “Against a weakling like you, I don’t even need a sword technique, I can just use my fist.”

“Qingfeng, you want to defeat me with your fist? Are you dumb?” Jianhuang laughed with disdain in his eyes.

For Jianhuang, Qingfeng’s sword techniques were not even his match, not to mention fist techniques.

Qingfeng didn’t say a word in front of Jianhuang’s mockery. He channeled the Mortal Purgatory Body technique, and the surface of his body began glowing with golden sparks.

Qingfeng’s face changed. He didn’t think the first fist of the Strangle Hell Fist wouldn’t be Jianhuang’s match.

Qingfeng then used the second, third, and fourth Strangle Hell Fist skills, but they were all torn in half by the golden light from Jianhuang’s long sword.

“I don’t believe that my fifth fist technique is not your match!” Qingfeng’s face grew dark, and his eyes became cold.

“Fifth Fist – Moving Heavens and Earth.” Qingfeng immediately used the fifth fist of the Strangle Hell Fist, his most powerful skill at this point.

The entire dimension was shattered, and, like it had appeared somewhere else, the fist flew down from outer space, and appeared immediately in front of Jianhuang.

Jianhuang’s face changed. He didn’t think this fist would appear suddenly from space. He charged with his longsword, and as it clashed onto the fist, the two sounded loudly upon impact.

Jianhuang’s body moved back two steps. He frowned because this was the first time he was pushed back in combat with Qingfeng.

Qingfeng’s eyes lit up. Finally his fifth Strangle Hell Fist had an effect, but Qingfeng knew that it was difficult to defeat Jianhuang with just the fifth Strangle Hell Fist. He had to learn the sixth fist.

Qingfeng was in the half-step Spirit Emperor Realm and was ready to learn the sixth fist.

The sixth fist of the Strangle Hell Fist was called ‘Sixth Fist – Shattering the Void’, because it could shatter dimensions.

Qingfeng used the Strangle Hell Fist to fight Jianhuang while he began to learn the sixth fist. After a few exchanged, he felt that he had grasped the principles of the technique.

“My precious sword, how dare you break my sword?” Jianhuang’s face changed as his eyes filled with shock.

Jianhuang’s sword was an emperor level treasured sword, it was incredibly powerful, but was now shattered by Qingfeng’s fist.

“Jianhuang, I’ll teach you how to behave today.” Qingfeng punched out again with his right fist, immediately appearing in the dimension and shot toward Jianhuang’s left eye.

Qingfeng’s fist was very strong, leaving a black bruise on Jianhuang’s left eye. His face immediately swelled up like a dinner roll.

Chapter 1360: Jianhuang Zhao Brutally Punched by Fists

 

Jianhuang Zhao already trained in the Immortal’s Sutra, but he was only at its first level. There was still a lot more he had yet to learn, so his power was limited and clearly not Qingfeng’s match.

“Jianhuang, you haven’t even fully mastered the Immortal’s Sutra yet, and you dare to parade your abilities in front of me? Just watch how I beat you up.”

Qingfeng smiled coldly and swung his fists. His punches shot out incessantly throughout the dimension and smashed Jianhuang off of his balance. Shortly after, Jianhuang’s face was punched into a greenish swollen bulge, and his eyes were bruised, making him look like a panda. It looked brutal.

Not only that, Qingfeng even broke Jianhuang’s left arm, and his white bones were exposed as blood spewed out nonstop.

“Qingfeng, you win today, but I’ll come back and get my revenge.” Jianhuang looked at Qingfeng coldly and turned to run.

“You want to run? Do you think you can get away?” Qingfeng shouted loudly and channeled his vital essence. He punched out with his fist yet again and hit Jianhuang on his back, puncturing a hole.

Jianhuang cried out in pain. Luckily it was only his back and didn’t come into contact with his heart. He had escaped this time but was deeply wounded.

“Essence Blood Ignition! I have to escape!” Jianhuang chanted loudly and unleashed the Immortal’s Sutra. His whole body turned into a ray of golden light and shot out of that place instantly.

Jianhuang Zhao’s speed was as fast like lightning, and constantly accelerating. Qingfeng’s expression grew cold; he was too late if he wanted to capture Jianhuang.

“This Jianhuang Zhao sure runs fast, it seems like the Immortal’s Sutra truly is powerful.” Qingfeng smiled lightly with hints of regret in his eyes.

Alhtough Qingfeng didn’t kill Jianhuang Zhao this time, he did wound Jianhuang heavily, so at least in the short term, Jianhuang’s abilities were substantially reduced. Even if he meets Linger Yao again, he wouldn’t be able to harm her.

Qingfeng came beside Linger Yao and asked, “Are you okay?”

Linger Yao frowned and didn’t say anything, but she was pale with hints of blood on her lips.

Qingfeng reached out, wanting to wipe off her blood, but Linger Yao turned away in refusal.

Qingfeng felt awkward, because he also didn’t know what to do when he saw Linger Yao again.

Qingfeng Li’s mind entered into his interspatial ring and wanted to take out an elixir to cure Linger Yao, but he found his interspatial ring was empty without anything inside.

He patted his head with hints of distress, because he just remembered that while he was inside the second level of Hell with Mengyao Fu, he had entered the Taotie’s body. While inside, Qingfeng had already used all his elixirs.

Qingfeng showed hints of awkwardness on his face as he said, “Linger Yao, I’ve used all of my elixir, so can I transfer some of my vital essence to help you recover?”

Linger Yao shook her head and said, “No need, I’m about to leave to find the Demonic-Imperial Sect’s members.”

After she spoke, Linger Yao turned to leave without any hesitation.

Qingfeng sighed as he watch her leave. He wanted to stop her, but he stopped just as he took one step.

Qingfeng knew that it would be useless even he caught up to her, because the two would always have something caught in between.

He turned to join the Wolf Fang Team, and everyone looked at Qingfeng oddly with hints of confusion.

“Boss, what’s your relationship with Linger Yao, why did you help her?” Daoist was very interested in gossip as he asked Qingfeng.

Qingfeng stared at him and said, “Why do you ask so much, shut up.”

Daoist was scolded, so he became a bit depressed.

Bald Man snickered on the side and said, “Daoist, why are you asking Boss? She’s definitely the boss’s female friend.”

Qingfeng felt terrible now, he stared at Bald Man and said, “You shut up as well, don’t join in the gossip.”

After he spoke, he ignored everyone in the Wolf Fang Team. Instead he walked beside Black Puppy and said, “Puppy, lead me to Dao Palace Mountain.”

Black Puppy nodded and led the group in the front, as Qingfeng followed beside it. Everyone began heading towards Dao Palace Mountain.

Dao Palace Mountain was a massive mountain that reached into the clouds in the sky, without an end to the naked eye.

During the ancient era, Dao Palace Mountain was one of the ten big immortal mountains. It had a great reputation, such that many self-cultivators trained there to become saints and immortals.

There were plenty of demonic beasts in the area, and not long after Qingfeng and the others left, they met a few demonic beasts. However, Qingfeng was now incredibly powerful. With just one slash of his sword, all these demonic beasts were killed.

Along the way, Qingfeng didn’t keep count of how many demonic beasts he killed, but the Fire Emperor Sword in his hands was tainted bright red with blood, never ceasing killing along the way. Finally, they successfully reached Dao Palace Mountain.

Dao Palace Mountain was seven thousand metres tall, and there were tall trees, black rocks, ruins, and wrecked architecture scattered all the way to the top of the mountain.

There used to be many palaces, Daoist pagodas, and martial training arenas, but now there was nothing left standing, as it all turned into ruins.

Qingfeng looked forward and saw shattered rocks, pillars, pieces of bricks, and palaces. Everything looked so deserted and broken down.

Qingfeng turned his head and asked, “Daoist, is your ancestral master in those ruins up on the top?”

Daoist nodded and said, “Yes boss, my ancestral master is trapped in the ruins above.”

“Everyone come with me, let’s see what’s in those ruins.” Qingfeng waved his hand and led everyone up the mountain.

The mountaintop was bare; aside from black rocks there weren’t any plants, grass, trees, vines, or even demonic beasts.

Qingfeng frowned and his eyes filled with questions. Normally, there would be plants or flowers growing on mountaintops, but this one was completely bare, like a ruins site.

Qingfeng walked in the very front, because he knew that there might be danger ahead. He was the most powerful out of the group, so naturally he should walk first to protect others.

As he walked forward, he grew more unsettled as he felt a sense of danger in the ruins before him.

Qingfeng unleashed his spirit energy around to investigate the ruins before him.

All he saw was a cave deep within the ruins, and inside was black devilish energy rolling like a sea of mist. That devilish energy blackened the sky, and it was moving like boiling water, as if it wanted to burst out.

Indistinctively, he could even see a white-haired elder locked up by iron chains and lying on a rug. He was skinny all over, as if all his essence blood had been sucked out by the devilish energy.

“Could this white-haired elder be the Daoist’s ancestral master, Heavenly Dao Elder?” Qingfeng frowned as he thought to himself.

Chapter 1361: Rock Devil

 

“Everyone be careful, there’s danger in front.” Qingfeng turned his head to warn everyone around him.

He knew that he had great power, but everyone else weren’t as strong, so he had to remind them.

Flower Fairy frowned her delicate brows and said, “Big Brother Li, there’s danger?”

Qingfeng’s expressions grew concerned, he said, “In the ruins before us, there’s demonic energy boiling, so there must be a demonic creature.”

Black Puppy grew concerned and said, “I also feel danger before us, it must be a big devil.”

Daoist’s face changed and his eyes filled with anxiety. He said hurriedly, “Boss, my ancestral master is trapped in those ruins, could he be in danger? Is he still alive?”

Qingfeng waved his head and said softly, “Don’t speak, or you’ll disturb that devil. Your ancestral master should still be alive.”

Qingfeng led the ones around him forward. This time, they were very careful and took every step cautiously. They moved around softly, in fear that the rocks beneath them might make a sound and give away their presence.

They arrived at the mountain bend half way up the Dao Palace Mountain, and found a massive ruin. In the ruins, there were debris, tumbled pillars, shattered bricks, and dust piled on top.

Undeniably, the materials used to build these palaces of the ancient era were precious resources that were immensely powerful. Some places were created with vitality stones, and they still hadn’t oxidized or turned into debris over the past thousands of years. They only tumbled down.

Qingfeng’s face changed suddenly, because he saw a massive handprint in the middle of the ruins.

This handprint was immensely big; it was several thousand meters in size and covered half of the mountain. It was this very handprint that destroyed the palace they were standing in.

Black Puppy said, “If I am correct, this handprint seems to be a technique that does not belong to Earth and was left there when the foreign invaders attacked the Kunlun Mountains. I am sensing energy of self-cultivators from foreign regions.”

Sky-Devouring Snake also said, “That’s right, this handprint was definitely left by self-cultivators from other dimensions. I remember seeing an immortal’s hand fly down from outer space during the ancient era and striking right on this Dao Palace Mountain.”

Qingfeng frowned and suddenly said, “Puppy, the devil you mentioned earlier, could it be from outer space?”

Black Puppy nodded and said, “Possibly. After the other planets attacked Earth, not all of the invaders left. There were still some that stayed and hid on earth.”

“Everyone take out your weapons and prepare to fight.” Qingfeng said to everyone around, because he felt the approach of the devilish energy.

After he spoke, Qingfeng also pulled out his Fire Emperor Sword to prepare for battle.

Hints of black devilish energy charged towards Qingfeng and shortly appeared before him.

Qingfeng flipped his wrists, piercing his Fire Emperor Sword forward. It formed a ray of red flame sword energy. With one slash it burned the black fog into nothingness.

“Sniss” From the black devilish air, a strange sound came out, like a sad and cold wail.

“What kind of devil are you?! Don’t hide! Come out if you dare, and I’ll slash you in two!” Qingfeng said arrogantly as he pointed towards the devilish energy before him with his longsword.

Qingfeng knew that if the owner behind this devilish energy was a self-cultivator from outer space, then they must be full of pride and would never hide after such a taunt.

And of course, after it heard Qingfeng’s arrogant words, a cold voice rang through the demonic air. It said, “Human, how dare you come to Dao Palace Mountain? You’re looking for death, I will have my servant kill you.”

Bang bang bang…

A series of bang sounds rang out from the black devilish mist, like something was about to come out.

Qingfeng remained calm, being vigilant of his front. Suddenly a tall body walked out.

This body was very tall, at least several meters in size. Even one leg was about six or so metres long, and several times taller than Qingfeng’s height.

It was a giant, but this giant didn’t have human body, it was made of rocks, and entirely of granite, exuding a powerful devilish aura.

Black Puppy’s face changed, and it said, “A member of the Rock Devil Tribe.”

Qingfeng frowned and asked, “Puppy, what is the Rock Devil Tribe?”

Black Puppy said, “The Rock Devil Tribe isn’t a tribe from earth. They come from a granite planet in outer space. All the self-cultivators there begin as ordinary rocks but as they absorb the devilish energy between the heavens and earth, they grow devilish traits and a soul. Eventually, they gain the consciousness and intelligence of humans. They were amongst the group that once invaded earth.”

Qingfeng nodded as he heard the introduction.

In the self-cultivator realm, everything could cultivate and train. Even a plant, a flower, a rock, or a tree could train into human form and eventually turn into humans.

Even the Monkey King jumped out of a rock, because rocks could train and cultivate, so it was understandable.

“Fire Mountain.” Qingfeng waved his Fire Emperor Sword and unleashed his fire vital essence; a fire mountain formed and charged towards the Rock Devil.

The Rock Devil smiled coldly, as it punched out with its black fist, and a fist mountain several thousand meters tall formed. It was full of black energy and destroyed Qingfeng’s Fire Mountain in one punch.

Qingfeng’s face changed, because he didn’t expect the Rock Devil before him to be so strong. It destroyed the first skill of his Fire Emperor sword technique so easily!

Black Puppy said, “Qingfeng, the Rock Devil is strongest in attack and defense, and they aren’t afraid of fire or lightening. You’ll have to beat them with pure energy.”

Qingfeng nodded and put away his Fire Emperor Sword. Since the sword technique wouldn’t do much, he had to use another attack method.

He pulled out the Golden Calabash, opened its lid, and clapped the bottom.

Out from the Calabash shot out a ray of golden energy that tore through the air. The beam crossed space and immediately appeared before the Rock Devil’s palm and shot out a massive hole on his palm.

Qingfeng’s pupil shrunk because the Rock Devil didn’t bleed at all. It was formed with rocks, so it didn’t have any blood.

In the next second, the Rock Devil’s hand recovered, and the hole had disappeared.

“Earthling, how dare you wound me?! I’ll kill you!” Rock Devil waved its palms and charged at Qingfeng.

Qingfeng’s face changed and he heavily stepped on the ground with his foot. His body flew into the air and escaped the opponent’s palm.

The Rock Devil’s massive hand hit the ground and punctured a massive crater, causing rocks and dirt to fly everywhere.
