Chapter 241: Call From Xue Lin

 

After 12 Hours.

The plane landed at Paris’s international airport. When Qingfeng Li stepped off the plane, he felt a sudden pain in his heart. He felt like he was losing something important.

Why is my heart so painful?

Qingfeng Li held his hand over his chest with his face pale, pea-sized sweat trickled down his forehead. His sixth sense was telling him something, something important was happening in Eastern Sea City.

“Wolf King Highness, are you ok?” Seeing Qingfeng Li’s face going pale, Bernard asked caringly.

After one hour, the Rolls Royce drove pass the streets of Paris and arrived at Bernard’s manor.

Bernard’s Manor, or Rafi Hotel, was located on the rural side of Paris. It had an area of 178 acres, within it the vineyard itself took up 103 acres. The richness of the soil and the near-perfect temperature makes it perfect for the growth of grapes, and of course, perfect for producing wine.

At the inner side of the manor, it has tens of villas, all European architecture, extremely beautiful. These are for Bernard’s family and relatives.

When the Rolls Royce stopped at the first villa, a gorgeous lady came up and greeted them, “Mr.Bernard, you came.”

“Did my father get better?”Bernard asked.

This lady was the headmistress of this turf, responsible for everything, and of course, responsible for taking care of Bernard’s father.

“Mr. Bernard, your father’s mouth is vomiting black blood. He is going to be gone soon.” The lady said urgently.

“What, my father is dying so soon?” Bernard’s expression changed and he ran towards the villa.

Qingfeng Li and Baron Smith followed closely. Their goal today was to cure Bernard’s father.

Inside a luxurious room, a black-faced elder lied on the bed unconsciously. With his mouth revealing a streak of black blood.

“Father, I’m back, you can’t leave me.” Bernard saw the state of his father, and started crying.

The relationship between the two was extremely close. Since birth, Bernard never had a mother and it was his father who single-handily raised him up. Because of this, seeing the fragile state of his father brought pain to his heart.

“Wolf King Highness, please I beg you to save my father.” Bernard saluted Qingfeng Li.

“Don’t worry, I will for sure save him,” said Qingfeng Li.

Just when Qingfeng Li stepped into the room, he started looking at the body of the elder. From what he saw, black face and black blood, it was obvious he was poisoned.

In regard to what kind of poison, he had to make further investigations.

Qingfeng Li walked to the side of the elder, held his wrist and felt the pulse. In the meantime, he was trying to understand the reactions from different parts of the body.

“Wolf King Highness, what happened to my father?”

“He was poisoned, according to my diagnosis, it is Datura poisoning.”

“What, you said my father got poisoned with Datura?”

“Yes, it is Datura poisoning.” with his brows tensed up, he said.

After the diagnosis, he was sure the elder was poisoned with Datura.

His body contains a large amount of poison. These have intruded into the elder’s brain, causing him to go unconscious.

“Wolf King Highness, do you have the cure?” Bernard looked at Qingfeng Li with hope, with strong desires in his eyes.

“Cough cough, where exactly am I?” the elder coughed, opening his eyes. His pale face finally has a touch of red

“Father, are you well now?” Seeing the elder become unconscious had made Bernard extremely happy.

“Bernard, what happened to me, why do I feel dizzy? What happened?” the elder asked. To his memory, all he did was drink a sip of tea, and fall unconscious. After that he knew nothing.

“Father, you got poisoned with Datura! Wolf King Highness saved you.” he pointed at Qingfeng Li, said with excitement.

“Wolf King Highness, thank you.” The elder obviously knew the identity of Wolf King Highness, and he also knew what it meant.

The elder wanted to sit up and thank Qingfeng Li, but due to the weakness of his body, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t get up.

“Don’t move, the poison within your body just got removed, you have to rest well,” said Qingfeng Li as he rushed to hold down the elder.

How did the Tiger King have Xue Lin’s phone?

Qingfeng Li paled as he realized things went wrong, so he asked in a serious tone, “Why do you have Xue Lin’s phone, Tiger King?”

“I have your wife with me now, of course I have her phone, Wolf King.”

“You kidnapped Xue Lin?”

“You are right. Your wife is pretty … it would be a pity if such a beauty dies.”

“I am warning you Tiger King, if you dare to touch her, I will kill you for sure,” said Qingfeng Li with a cruel voice as a surge of murderous intent was rushing out of him.

The murderous atmosphere around him was so intense that it cooled down the entire room. Bernard and all the other people were terrified as if they were facing a death god.

“I will be waiting for you in Chen’s Hot Spring Villa, Wolf King. Be ready to bury her dead body if you don’t show up within one day.”

Tiger King hung up the phone as soon as he finished his words.

Qingfeng Li tried to call back several times, but the phone just remained unavailable, which made an intense anger grow stronger and stronger in his heart.

Damn you Tiger King, how dare you kidnap my wife. There was a fierce fire starting in Qingfeng Li’s heart, all he wanted at the moment was to rip off the Tiger King’s head.

There was no doubt with Bernard’s power and influence in France, it took him no effort to schedule a private flight for Qingfeng Li. The entire plane was reserved for him.

Qingfeng was staring at the clouds outside the airplane, but his heart was tied tight with Xue Lin.

He was afraid that anything terrible would happen to Xue Lin. If that was the case, he would never forgive himself, he would spend the rest of his life blaming himself. He knew the reason she got kidnapped was him. It was his fault. The Tiger King was his enemy, but he didn’t expect Xue Lin to get involved.

Meanwhile, in Chen’s Hot Spring Villa.

The Hot Spring Villa was located at about halfway up to the mountain, on which was built a huge house that took up one thousand square meters of land. In front of the house, there was an immense hot spring.

Xue Lin was tied down and hung from a beam with an explosive strapped to her body.

Her face was dreadfully pale, as she had been hanged there for a day. She was tired and starving, and her eyes were full of deadness and stillness.

She felt that she couldn’t make it any longer. She missed Qingfeng Li so much that all she could wish was to see him before she died.

Under the beam were Tiger King, Panther King, Rat King and Haiyang Chen, who was sitting on the couch enjoying some nice drinks.

“Your highness Tiger King, why don’t you let me take a bit advantage of Xue Lin?” asked Haiyang Chen, as he was turning his flattering face toward Tiger King.

After hearing that, Tiger King took a cold glance at Haiyang Chen, said, “You just heard what Xue Lin said, if you dare touch her, she will commit suicide by biting off her tongue. How can we tempt the Wolf King if Xue Lin is dead?”

The Wolf King was the biggest enemy of the Tiger King. If he wanted to kill the Wolf King, then Xue Lin was the perfect bait. He couldn’t lose the chance to end his enemy and therefore, he would not allow Haiyang Chen to touch her.

Haiyang Chen didn’t feel reconciled to what Tiger King said, but he understood that the most important thing at the moment was to kill Qingfeng Li.

“Haiyang Chen, the Wolf King can be here at any minute. It is better for you just go home and hide since you will just be a hindrance.” said the Tiger King, after shooting a glance at him.

He knew that Haiyang Chen was just an ordinary person who lacked the strength to do anything. It was useless keeping him here. Since Xue Lin was here already, there would be nothing for him to do now.

“Fine, I’m going back home now. I wish you success in one shot.” Haiyang Chen turned around and left, after conveying his wishes.

To be honest, Haiyang Chen was not willing to stay here. He could already foresee a ferocious battle once the Wolf King showed up. He knew nothing about fighting so wouldn’t that be ridiculous if he got killed during their fight?

Haiyang Chen rushed to the Chen Family in Eastern Sea City after he left the Hot Spring Villa. He found a safe place to hide so now it was time to wait for the good news of the Wolf King being killed.

He highly believed that Qingfeng Li would be killed if he was under attack by the Tiger King, Panther King and Rat King all at once. It was time for him to die.

Twelve hours later.

The Boeing 747 landed in Eastern Sea International Airport. Qingfeng Li got out off the plane in a hurry, called a taxi and headed to Chen’s Hot Spring Villa.

Tiger King told him that Xue Lin was at Chen’s Hot Spring Villa so he was going there first without a doubt.

It was eight o’clock in the morning when Qingfeng Li arrived at the Hot Spring Villa. He ran halfway up the mountain.

The villa took up an enormous amount of land, up to four or five thousand square meters. Standing in front of him was a two-meter high golden door.

With a loud banging noise, the two-meter high door was kicked open by Qingfeng Li. He even left a big hole on that golden door, from which it could be told how powerful he was.

“Hahaha, the Wolf King is here.” Tiger King and the others looked straight into each other’s eyes and all they saw was excitement.

The three of them had been planning this for such a long time, and here came the moment. They had to kill Wolf King and seize the honorable throne.

Qingfeng Li’s face turned down when he entered the lobby of the villa, as he saw Xue Lin was tied and hanged from the beam. Her adorable face became pale and inanimate because she had not had any food or water for a long time.

It hurt Qingfeng Li a lot seeing how pale and weak Xue Lin was. Anger suddenly coursed through his veins, and the temperature in the room seemed to rise as a murderous radiation came out of Qingfeng Li. Anyone who tried to stop him would end up dead today.

“Are you alright honey, I’m here to get you back.” Qingfeng Li shouted. His priority was to ensure Xue Lin was safe.

Xue Lin opened her eyes as she heard Qingfeng Li’s voice. Her eyes lit up when she saw her husband had shown up in the room.

However, her face was downcast again remembering that there were three masters in the room and she was strapped with explosives.

“This is a trap, get out of here right now.” Xue Lin screamed, her eyes were full of concern. She never wanted to see him get killed here.

It touched Qingfeng Li’s heart when he heard Xue Lin ask him to run away. She was always considerate towards him no matter under what circumstances.

“Don’t worry my dear, I will get you out of here,” said Qingfeng Li with a determined look.

“That is hilarious. How can you save her while there are a bunch of explosives strapped onto her.” Tiger King mocked in a cold voice.

Qingfeng Li’s face took on a ghastly expression when he heard what Tiger King said.

He shouted madly, “You despicable bastard, lay your hatred on me. Don’t use a woman as your bait.”

“I have no other way to contend against you Wolf King. You are too strong for me. Therefore, the only thing I can do is to kidnap Xue Lin to trap you.”

“I’m warning you that you are going to be dead with no doubt today, Tiger King.”

“Oh really? I think I forgot to tell you that the explosive on her will go off in ten minutes. Is it quite challenging to beat all three of us in such a short amount of time.” said Tiger King banteringly.

The reason he set up the timer for ten minutes was to panic Qingfeng Li, because he would misjudge the situation and make mistakes in a hurry, which left Tiger King a great opportunity.

“Tiger King, Panther King, Rat King, hmm, what an honor to have three of the seven kings come here for me.” said Qingfeng Li while looking at the three kings in the room, chilling light emitting out of his eyes.

As kings, it made sense that they knew each other. Thus, Qingfeng Li knew the three people stood in front of him. Obviously, they didn’t have a good relationship. As he was the top among all the others, everyone else was dying to kill and replace him.

“It is your time of doom, Wolf King.” said Rat King with his face downcast, his inverted-triangle eyes were full of hatred. It was noticeable that he had a missing tooth, which was knocked off by Qingfeng Li before.

Qingfeng Li shot a glance at him, sneering, “Losers don’t even have the right to talk to me.”

The Rat King’s face darkened. His eyes held total anger after he heard what Qingfeng Li said. He was beaten by Wolf King last year, and lost one tooth. That was a shame that he will have to live with for a lifetime. He swore that he would kill Wolf King to wash off his disgrace.

“Come on Tiger King and Panther King, let’s kill this guy.” said Rat King with a cold and raging face.

“Come on!” shouted Tiger King, Panther King and Rat king as they started rushing toward Qingfeng Li.

There was no doubt of the power of the three kings as footprints were left on the hard floor tiles easily as they stepped on them. With a sound of sonic boom, they arrived in front of Qingfeng Li immediately as fast as an arrow.

With an ear-splitting burst of noise, the Tiger King punched Qingfeng Li at his front. The right hand of the Panther King turned into a panther claw, scratching his side. The Rat King was the most despicable one as he pulled out a dagger and stabbed at Qingfeng Li’s back.

As cowardly as the Rat King was, who was good at sneak attack, stabbing from the behind would obviously be his choice.

The dagger was about twenty centimeters long, and the sharp tip gave off some green radiance, which apparently indicated that it was highly poisoned.

Three kings attacked Qingfeng Li from three directions, which cut off all his routes of retreat. Their aim was to kill him with one shot.

“Watch out, dear!” yelled Xue Lin, her face turned dreadfully pale when she saw three kings attacking Qingfeng Li together.

Those three men were too despicable to her. They didn’t deserve to be called Kings, as kings would never cheat in a battle. Xue Lin was really worried about Qingfeng Li at this moment.

She was even mad at herself that she didn’t know how to fight, since if she did, she could have helped her husband to beat those bastards.

To calm down Xue Lin, Qingfeng Li gave her an assured look in return to her warning.

“I’m glad you guys made your moves, now show me what you got.” Qingfeng Li stepped hard on the floor as he snickered.

His body moved as fast as a flash, as he dodged to the left, successfully avoiding the Rat King’s dagger from behind. Although the Rat King was not the most powerful one, his poisoned dagger was the most dangerous threat.

The Tiger King and Panther King reached the front and were ready to attack after Qingfeng Li dodged from Rat King. It was impossible to elude, so he had to fight back.

Qingfeng Li shouted madly, threw out his right fist furiously, which smashed against the fist of the Tiger King. His left hand turned into a hawk claw shape at the same time, crashing against the claw of the Panther King.

After two muffled but fierce sounds, the Tiger King and Panther King both retreated, as well as Qingfeng Li.

The Panther King and that Rat King all had the same indignant look on their faces. They began to rejoice that they kidnapped Xue Lin to tempt Wolf King. Otherwise, they couldn’t do anything to him, as he was too strong.

If they had to fight alone, none of the three kings would be Qingfeng Li’s rival.

The Rat King was so despicable that he used Xue Lin to disturb Qingfeng Li’s mind. As Rat King expected, Qingfeng Li’s face changed after hearing what Rat King said, his eyes were filled with concern and he could feel the heat under his collar.

Qingfeng Li could kill a king within ten minutes if they could fight one against one. However, it was challenging to have a battle with three kings all at once in order to rescue Xue Lin.

Chapter 244: Killing the Three Kings

 

“The Life-Taking Dagger is very dangerous, get your weapons ready,” The Tiger King told the Panther King and the Rat King as his body quivered with intense hatred and bitterness.

Knowing the terror of the Life-Taking Dagger, Tiger King took out a bayonet, with horrifying blades on both sides.

Panther King also took out a steel claw. As for the Rat King, the poisoned dagger would still be his choice.

Every king had his own weapon. Once a weapon was picked up by a king, then it meant there would be blood, and someone would get killed.

One king would be doomed to burn out after the battle today.

“Come on everybody, kill the Wolf King.” Screamed the Tiger King, while trying to stab at Qingfeng Li’s heart with his bayonet.

That was a malicious attempt of his to kill Qingfeng Li by stabbing through his heart.

Panther King reached out his steel claw and scratched Qingfeng Li’s arm, while Rat King thrusted at his back with the poisoned dagger.

The three of them collaborated extremely well, by attacking Qingfeng Li from three directions at the same time, which left him no time react.

Xue Lin’s elegant face exploded in anger like a volcano filled with raging burning lava when she saw the three kings attack Qingfeng Li with their weapons together. She wished badly that she could put them to death.

Despicable, how despicable they were. All three of them were attacking her husband, with their weapons. Xue Lin hated them so much that her forehead throbbed as she was filled with rage.

Qingfeng Li’s face remained calm when their attacks came, but he was trying think of a countermove.

Among the three kings, the Tiger King’s attack was the most powerful, Panther King’s was the swiftest and Rat King’s was the most vicious.

Qingfeng Li knew clearly that the biggest threat was not from the Tiger King, but the Rat King. The Rat King’s attack couldn’t be underestimated because he was weak physically. His dagger was heavily poisoned, so once it scratched the skin, there would be no way to survive.

So he decided to kill the Rat King first, then the Tiger King and Panther King.

Qingfeng Li turned around all of a sudden, and rushed to the Rat King. The Life-Taking Dagger in his hand transformed into a cool flash, aiming at the Rat King’s neck.

“Crap, the Wolf King wants to kill me first.” Rat King’s face turned pale seeing the Life-Taking Dagger coming to him, and with no hesitation he grabbed his poisoned dagger and stabbed forward.

It was quite smart of Rat King to try and block the Life-Taking Dagger with his poisoned dagger. However, reality was cruel.

In an instant, the poisoned dagger were broken into two pieces as it touched the Life-Taking Dagger.

“That’s impossible, my poisoned dagger was refined from pure iron, how could it be damaged?” Rat King couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw his dagger break into pieces.

In order to cast this dagger, he asked for help from the greatest weapon smith on the Rat Continent, and this extremely sharp dagger was made from pure iron mixed with rare materials.

“Help me! Tiger King! Panther King!” seeing the rage in Qingfeng Li’s eyes, Rat King screamed with a terrified look.

“How dare you, Wolf King?” yelled Tiger King, while stabbing at Qingfeng Li’s back with his bayonet. Meanwhile, Panther King’s steel claw was reaching for his arm too.

Joy flashed in the Rat King’s eyes when he saw the other two kings started attacking Qingfeng Li. Rat King knew that if Qingfeng Li wanted to dodge, then he had to let the Rat King go. Otherwise, he would get injured.

However, Qingfeng Li would not let go Rat King easily. It was such a great chance, even though it would be at the expense of getting injured, he would grab the chance to kill one of the kings, then break their formation.

Qingfeng Li understood that the Tiger King was the biggest threat to him. He shifted his body to the left to avoid the Tiger King’s attack, but unfortunately exposed his arm tothe Panther King’s attack, which he didn’t really care about.

“You are definitely going to die.” Qingfeng Li yelled loudly with rage.

The Life-Taking Dagger in his hand was like a Grim Reaper, thrusting right into the Rat King’s throat, then being pulled out quickly.

A stream of blood squirted out of Rat King’s throat. He covered his throat with his hands, his face in total terror. With the light in his eyes fading gradually, he finally fell to the ground and stopped breathing.

A king once in a generation … the Rat King of the Rat Continent, dead.

The Panther King’s claw scratched Qingfeng Li’s arm as he was trying to kill the Rat King, the clothes covering his arm was ripped off, and the skin underneath was also viciously scratched, badly mutilated.

Qingfeng Li stabbed the Panther King’s heart with his dagger, then pulled out right after. The body of Panther King fell down hard.

Then he rushed to the Tiger King. It ended up with a draw when three kings collaborated, now that the Tiger King was the only one left, there would be no challenge for Qingfeng Li at all.

Qingfeng Li whipped the Tiger King’s weapon out of his hand with his Life-Taking Dagger and then started to stab at the Tiger King’s head.

“You can’t kill me, Wolf King.” The Tiger King’s face changed, and he yelled.

“What a joke, you kidnapped my wife, and you tried to kill me, why can’t I kill you?” Qingfeng Li burst into laughter upon what Tiger King said.

“Wolf King, let me tell you, my wife is Snake King Cassiopeia. You will be dead if you kill me.”

“Snake King Cassiopeia, never heard of that. I think it’s better to kill you now.” Qingfeng Li laughed coldly and sliced off the Tiger King’s head with his Life-Taking Dagger.

Who the hell was Snake King Cassiopeia?

The Wolf Continent had been under Qingfeng Li’s control for a long time yet as invincible and well-informed as he was, he never heard of the name of the Snake King, not to mention Cassiopeia.

It seemed like the Tiger King made up all that just to scare him.

Tiger King of the Tiger Continent, dead.

The three kings were all dead by now and the world would be in a panic once the news spread. The underworld would probably descend into a mess because of that.

“Crap, the explosive on my wife will go off in thirty seconds!” Qingfeng Li got frightened and fear flashed in his eyes.

Xue Lin would be screwed in thirty seconds, which really made Qingfeng Li panic.

Damn Tiger King, how could he have set up a timer. Qingfeng Li wished that the Tiger King were alive now, so that he could kill him one more time.

As the top leader of all the kings, Qingfeng Li was the most powerful king. He could kill anyone else with ease, but he was still afraid of things like explosive, which could totally go beyond a human being’s control, especially when his wife got involved.

He would live with guilt the rest of his life if Xue Lin died because of him. He would rather be dead than see her die.

Qingfeng Li threw the dagger at the rope, Xue Lin fell down as the rope was cut off. Qingfeng Li stepped forward and opened his arms, catching Xue Lin at once.

“You are so amazing my dear. I love you.” said Xue Lin with great excitement and her lovely face blushed.

Qingfeng Li put his arms around Xue Lin’s waist and picked her up. He carried her outside with a downcast face.

“Where are we going my dear?” asked Xue Lin, as seeing his sullen face.

“We’ll ask Haiyang Chen for justice.” said Qingfeng Li in a cold and determined voice.

Qingfeng Li wouldn’t only ask Haiyang Chen for justice, the Chen Family wouldn’t get away either. His wife wouldn’t have ended up like this without the help offered by the Chen Family. It was the Chen Family that gave them the chance and means to kidnap his wife.

Qingfeng Li walked out of the house, got in a car found in the Hot Spring Villa and drove to the Chen Family with Xue Lin.

The Chen Family was one of the Big Four in Eastern Sea City, located at the furthest east side of the city. A fabulous and well-placed house stood there, which took up more than a thousand square meters. Both the father and young master were living there.

The house was of a luxurious European style, that was three stories high, with a three-meter high golden door.

There were more than ten big burly bodyguards walking around in the house and they were all dressed in black and their job was to ensure the safety of the family.

All the bodyguards looked towards where the huge noise was. They were shocked that the three-meter-high door was easily kicked open by someone.

At the front door there stood a couple. The man was handsome and the woman was charming. It could be told that the door was kicked open by the man since his foot still remained in the air.

They were no one else but Qingfeng Li and Xue Lin.

Sensing something wrong, all the bodyguards then walked toward the door. They were the Chen Family’s bodyguards and thus, Young Master Chen’s safety was their priority.

“Who are you? How dare you kick Chen Family’s door open?” asked a lead bodyguard, who was raging like a bull.

The lead bodyguard was about a meter and eight-five tall, like a Hulk in real life. His arms were solid and thick, revealing to others how strong he was.

“Tell Haiyang Chen to get the f*ck out and accept death!” said Qingfeng Li in a cold voice while his hands were kept behind.
