Chapter 281: The Loneliness Inside Ruyan Liu

 

“Have the wedding wine with me, dear,” Commanded Xue Lin when she turned her cold elegant face towards Qingfeng Li and blinked at him.

“My gan- brother, why not have the wedding wine with me?” then Ruyan Liu threw an enchanting smile at him.

Qingfeng Li looked around, not being able to make the decision on whom he should have the wine with. On the left was his wife, it made sense that he had a drink with her first. However, since he already slept with Ruyan Liu, who was on the right side of him, it seemed inappropriate if he turned her down.

People around couldn’t believe their eyes on what was going on. Two gorgeous women wanted to have wedding wine with the same man?

What a lucky man. Qingfeng Li was soon drowned in everyone’s envy and jealousy. For any ordinary man, it would be the greatest honor to have either Ruyan Liu or Xue Lin, since both of them were stunners. But now, Qingfeng Li could have them both at once.

He crossed his left arm with Xue Lin’s, while crossed the other arm with Ruyan Liu’s, then drank from both glasses at the same time.
Qingfeng Li showed his heroic spirit at this critical moment. Having wedding wine with two women at the same time, what a marvel he created.

What a genius. People around were all surprised, wondering how he came up with the idea of having drinks with two women simultaneously. They admired him not only for the fact that he had good fortune in affairs, but he also had the intelligence to handle the affair.

Qingfeng Li was seated at the male table. Xue Lin and Ruyan Liu were women so they were supposed to be seated at the female table but they insisted that they wanted to sit with Qingfeng Li.
During the meal, Xue Lin was sitting at his left side, while Ruyan Liu was on his right.

Ruyan Liu served Qingfeng Li a duck leg as soon as Xue Lin offered him with a chicken leg. Apparently, neither of them would like to give in.

“My dear, do you think I look gorgeous today?” asked Xue Lin with a bright smile on her face, while holding his left arm.

What else could Qingfeng Li say, he could only agree with her. But to be honest, she was indeed charming so it wasn’t a lie.

Seeing Xue Lin holding Qingfeng Li’s arm, Ruyan Liu didn’t want to get outdone. She slowly put her hand under the table and reached his thigh, which made him shiver and force himself to hold back his excitement.

“How about me, do you think I look pretty, my gan-brother?” said Ruyan Liu charmingly.

Qingfeng Li had to nod, and admit that she was also beautiful. His arm was held by Xue Lin, and his thigh was touched by Ruyan Liu. He did enjoy the moment, yet was also worried.

It was said that being with one woman was a pleasure, but was torture when there were two women.

Poor Qingfeng Li, had to have his meal with extreme delicacy, so that Xue Lin wouldn’t find out about Ruyan Liu’s moves under the table.
Thanks to Qingfeng Li, Hao Luo had a fabulous wedding. Therefore, Hao Luo offered Qingfeng Li some more wine while doing the toast to show his appreciation.

It was Hao Luo’s big day, thus he had so much wine out of great joy that he started to lose control over himself. He felt he didn’t show enough appreciation to Qingfeng Li, so he decided to get on his knees and bow to him. It took Qingfeng Li a while to stop him from doing that.

People left the wedding bit by bit after enjoying the great meals and drinks, so did Qingfeng Li and Xue Lin, followed by Ruyan Liu.

Outside the hotel.

Xue Lin took a glance at Ruyan Liu, said, “My husband and I are going home now, you wanna go back with us?”

Ruyan Liu’s face turned into disappointed upon Xue Lin’s words. Sorrow overflowed her eyes. After all, Qingfeng Li was not her husband. She could only reply with a bitter smile before she turned around and got in her Maserati.

Roar!

Ruyan Liu drove fast onto the street, and nobody noticed the loneliness in her eyes.

She couldn’t know any better that there was no way that she could be with Qingfeng Li. Her father from Jing Capital called her yesterday and told her to go back home and marry Shaoyang Wang. She said no to him, because she wanted to stay in Eastern Sea City a bit longer so that she could see Qingfeng Li a few more times.

Ruyan Liu knew that it was impossible to see him again once she left Eastern Sea City and got married to Shaoyang Wang in the Jing Capital. The most distant way in the world was not the way from life and death, it was when I stood in front of you, but you didn’t know that I love you. It was that we loved each other, but we couldn’t be together.

Would it upset you if I left you one day?

Tears covered Ruyan Liu’s face as she was driving. Falling in love with Qingfeng Li was such a terrible mistake for her, as he was married already.

“She’s gone, why are you still looking?” Jealousy showed up on Xue Lin’s face when she saw Qingfeng Li was still staring at the way Ruyan Liu went.

She was jealous, she was jealous of Ruyan Liu. It made her really uncomfortable when she found out that Ruyan Liu was truly into her husband.
Qingfeng Lin gave her an awkward smile, and said, “Let’s go home.”

A smart man would never talk about one woman with another, it had nothing to do with whether that woman was nice or not. There was only one thing he had to remember, he could place that woman in his heart, but he was never allowed to mention her.

Chapter 282: Xue Lin Wants a Wedding

 

Outside the hotel, although Ruyan Liu left already, it still bothered Xue Lin. She frowned, her eyes beautiful as usual when she looked at Qingfeng Li, but there were doubts in them this time.
Qingfeng Li looked down, trying to avoid her sight. He knew that the best answer right now was silence.

“My dear, is there anything between you and Ruyan Liu?” Xue Lin opened her lovely red lips, and finally let her question out.

She was planning to make Qingfeng Li tell the truth, but apparently he refused to say anything about it as he was still silent. The question Xue Lin had actually made him think about his relationship with Ruyan Liu. Was that friendship, or love?

“We are just friends.” Qingfeng Li answered and gave her a nice smile.

Could he tell Xue Lin his relationship with Ruyan Liu. Apparently not since he would be in big trouble if Xue Lin knew about it.

Although Xue Lin maintained her image of a cold elegant goddess like usual, she turned docile and tender in private due to Qingfeng Li’s efforts. However, she had her bottom line. Once he went beyond that line, then there was no doubt she would teach him a lesson.

“Are you sure you are just friends with her?”

“Yes I’m sure, it’s just pure friendship.”

“Fine, I trust you.” Xue Lin nodded. She had to trust him since he said so, even though some doubts were still stuck in her head.

Xue Lin was so impressed by the wonderful wedding Hao Luo had today, especially the moment when Hao Luo put on the ring for his bride. Her heart melted at that moment.

All of a sudden, Xue Lin was dying for a wedding, a wedding for her and Qingfeng Li. Although they had their marriage certificates, they never had a real wedding ceremony, on which they would receive wishes and happiness from all of their families and friends.

What’s more, most of the people didn’t even know that they were married, except for Xue Lin’s father, Qingfeng Li’s uncle.

In her opinion, her marriage would be complete and perfect only if they had a wedding ceremony, a pledge and put on rings for each other.

“My dear, I would love to have our own wedding,” said Xue Lin while giving Qingfeng Li a sweet smile.

“Don’t we have the marriage certificates already?”

“I’m talking about the wedding ceremony, like the one Hao Luo had. You say the pledge to me, and put on the ring for me”

“Why did you mention that suddenly?”

“I never have a ring put on by you, which is such a pity,” said Xue Lin in a low and regretful tone.

To a woman, there was nothing more important than a happy marriage. It was her dream to have her ring put on by the man she loved. Until then her marriage and her life could be called perfect.
She wanted a wedding ceremony, she wanted Qingfeng Li to put on the ring for her.

“Sure, when do you want the ceremony? You can decide on the date and location.” Qingfeng Li nodded.

He knew that he owed this woman too much, therefore he wouldn’t disagree if she wanted a wedding ceremony. Joy flushed on Xue Lin’s face when she heard Qingfeng Li say yes. She hadn’t made up her mind on the date or location, but she had time to plan for that.

“Oh, by the way, let’s go get a new car.” Xue Lin asked Qingfeng Li suddenly.

They took a taxi to the wedding today because her BMW was destroyed by Hu Wang last night.

As a CEO, it was inappropriate to go to work by taxi every day. She needed her own car, so that it would be convenient for commuting or visiting business partners.

“Sure, Hu Wang gave me five million as compensation, which is enough for a nice car,” said Qingfeng Li as he was reaching for his pocket.

They had a short discussion on what car to get, Qingfeng Li suggested Audi or Porsche, but Xue Lin preferred BMW. Qingfeng Li agreed with BMW since it would be Xue Lin driving the car. Then they got on a taxi and headed to the BMW 4S center on Renmin Road.

The BMW 4S center there was enormous, taking up a few thousand square meters. It had a huge collection of BMWs, from BMW 1 series to 5 series. It also offered all kinds of vehicle models and colors.

There were some saleswomen in the center. They were in their twenties and all good looking. Although people who worked here got paid really well, they were required to meet the high standards, which were young age, an excellent knowledge of cars and great appearance.

The manager was a woman in her thirties, who dyed her hair blonde, and looked pretty with red lipstick and mascara.

The manager went up to Qingfeng Li and Xue Lin as soon as she saw them coming. Her detailed introduction of the function, performance, and price of all cars showed that she was really knowledgeable. Her commissions were based on the numbers of cars she sold so therefore, the more she sold, the more she got paid.

Xue Lin finally decided to get a BMW X5 after looking at various models. She had a test drive, and was very satisfied with that.
This BMW 4S center provided excellent services, it would get all the paperwork done sufficiently as long as it was fully paid.

Qingfeng Li and Xue Lin drove the car away right after he made the payment.

However, Qingfeng Li got a phone call from King Kong not long after they left.

“What’s up King Kong?” Qingfeng Li answered the phone.

“Big brother Li, this is not King Kong, this is Qiang Zhang, his friend.” A strange voice came up.

Thinking for a while, Qingfeng Li realized that King Kong did have a fellow named Qiang Zhang, but why did he call me with King Kong’s phone?

Qingfeng Li knew that as the leader of many bullies, King Kong always had his phone on him. If anybody called, it would be King Kong. Why did his fellow call this time then?

It seemed that Qing Zhang sensed Qingfeng Li’s confusion so he explained, “So it’s like this, big brother Li, King Kong went to an underground force summit in Eastern Sea City. He handed his phone to me before he left, and asked me to call you to rescue him if he couldn’t come back within a day. ”

Rescuing King Kong from an underground force summit? Qingfeng Li figured out that there was something wrong. King Kong was his fellow, and wasn’t used to call him a lot. However, once he called, then it meant something terrible happened.

Qingfeng Li frowned, and asked, “Where are you, Qiang Zhang? ”

“Big brother Li, King Kong told me to wait for you on Mount Sole.” said Qiang Zhang with great respect.

“Ok, I’m heading to Lone Mountain in a bit” then Qingfeng Li hung up the phone.

If King Kong is in danger, Qingfeng Li naturally had to rescue him.

Chapter 283: The Underground Force Summit

 

“My dear, I have to run an errand. You should just drive home alone.” Qingfeng Li hopped out of the car right after telling Xue Lin.

Fights couldn’t be avoided if he was going to rescue King Kong. He didn’t want her to know and worry about that. She was a woman, after all. There was always something that she shouldn’t get involved in.

“Be careful my dear.” Xue Lin frowned and warned.

Qingfeng Li waved his hand, indicating that there was nothing to worry about. He stopped a taxi and then headed to Mount Sole.

He got there after a while, and saw a young guy with his hair dyed blonde at the bottom of the mountain. The young guy looked worried as he kept walking back and forth.

The young guy walked up to Qingfeng Li in a hurry, and greeted, “Hello Big brother Li, I’m Qiang Zhang.”

Qiang Zhang had seen Qingfeng Li before, and knew he was a real boss. Even King Kong was willing to call him boss and to be his subordinate.

“Qiang Zhang, do you know where the underground force summit is held?” Qingfeng Li raised his eyebrows and asked.

“I know, it’s at the Bay Villa in the suburbs. I’ll take you there.” Qiang Zhang nodded, asked Qingfeng Li to get in the car and drove to the summit.

The Bay Villa was remote and located in the southern suburban area in Eastern Sea City. There was an artificial lake in front, that was how it got the name.

Meanwhile, in the villa.

The lobby took up about a thousand square meters, and more than a dozen of tables were placed there. Behind each table sat a leader of an underground force in Eastern Sea City.

Every leader there had the ability to make huge waves in Eastern Sea City. There were at least ten bodyguards standing behind each leader.

Among all the leaders, there was Hu Wang from the Ferocious Tiger Clan, Bao Chen from the Triple Panther Clan and Lang Ye from the Lone Wolf Clan.

Hu Wang, Bao Chen and Lang Ye were the top three most powerful people among the underground force in Eastern Sea City.

The summit was more like a gathering for wiping out and merging other rivals, instead of an underground force summit.

The other forces were already incorporated into Hu Wang, Bao Chen and Lang Ye’s clan. The three of them had all agreed on dividing up the underground forces in Eastern Sea City and establishing the Eastern Sea League.

“Have you made up your mind yet, King Kong. The only way that you can stay alive is to join our Eastern Sea League,” said Hu Wang, whose face was downcast and hand was bandaged up.

His fist was crushed by Qingfeng Li yesterday, that was why it was still bandaged. He wasn’t planning to attend the summit, but he changed his mind out of concern that Bao Chen and Lang Ye would take over his territory.

King Kong bursted into laughter hearing Hu Wang’s words, he sneered, “Not a chance, I will never be part of the Eastern Sea League.”

Apparently, King Kong wouldn’t join the Eastern Sea League, since he knew that all his forces on Lone Hill were under Qingfeng Li’s control. He couldn’t betray Qingfeng Li.

In King Kong’s opinion, nobody else in Eastern Sea City but Qingfeng Li was qualified for the leader.

“Hu Wang, it seems like King Kong failed to appreciate your kindness, then why not screw him and take over his force.” Bao Chen sneered and offered his advice.

“Sure.” Hu Wang nodded and agreed with Bao Chen.
Bao Chen stood up and walked towards King Kong. Although he was not as tall as King Kong, his muscles were solid and powerful, and there were layers of calluses on his hands, which were the results of working out frequently.

King Kong couldn’t know any better about how strong Bao Chen was. Bao Chen was among the top three most powerful underground forces in Eastern Sea City.

Every step Bao Chen made added more fierceness to him, and it finally hit the top level of his fierceness when he walked up to King Kong.

Bao Chen viciously threw his right fist at King Kong all of a sudden with a huge sonic boom. King Kong lifted his arm in front of his face to block the coming fist.

Bang!

Bao Chen’s fist landed on King Kong’s arm, letting out a dull noise. King Kong’s face soon distorted since his arm was burning and the pain was extremely sharp as if the arm was about to break. He didn’t expect Bao Chen to be that powerful. He was pushed back at least seven steps till he stopped.

Bao Chen was indeed one of the top three tough guys in Eastern Sea City, King Kong couldn’t even take one strike from him.
Not to mention the bodyguards King Kong brought with him, they were eliminated as soon as he refused to join the Eastern Sea League.

“King Kong, how dare you fight against me when you can’t even take one strike?” asked Bao Chen, his laugh was full of sarcasm.

King Kong’s face turned pale, but he didn’t reply with anything. Although he knew he couldn’t defend against Bao Chen, he wouldn’t choose to give in.

Bao Chen sneered, and was ready to teach King Kong another tough lesson. If King Kong didn’t give in, then he was going to end his life.
Whoosh! Bao Chen instantly shifted towards King Kong like a panther, his right leg wiped through King Kong fiercely, which was so fast that nobody could capture its shadow.

King King tried to avoid the kick but unfortunately, he failed since that kick was so fast that it didn’t allow him to react, and he was kicked off immediately.

Bao Chen walked forward and stepped on King Kong’s chest as he was about to get up.

“This is your last chance, are you going to join us or you’d rather be a piece of rubbish with broken tendons and blood vessels?” Bao Chen looked down at him and threatened.

Once someone’s tendons and blood vessel were cut off, then his entire arm would be ruined and he could never expect to do anything with it.

King Kong responded to Bao Chen’s threat with a sneer, “It’s better you just set me free. Otherwise you will be screwed when Big brother Li comes.”

“Hahaha, Big brother Li? That’s hilarious. Where is your bro while you are suffering here? He is just a coward.” Bao Chen scorned, obviously he didn’t give a damn about Qingfeng Li.

As far as he concerned, there were few people that could be bracketed with him in Eastern Sea City, and that number wouldn’t go beyond the number of his fingers. Talking about Big brother Li, who the hell was him?

Hu Wang got frightened when he heard the name of Big brother Li. He didn’t forget that his fist was destroyed by Qingfeng Li last night because Mrs. Wang had a bit of history with Qingfeng Li. Hopefully, Big brother Li was not Qingfeng Li.

It was impossible, wouldn’t that be such a coincidence. Hu Wang nodded, trying to get rid of that terrible thought.

“King Kong, I’m going to cut off your tendons and blood vessels since you aren’t listening to me.” A chilling smile showed up on Bao Chen’s face, then he took out a dagger and was about to get started.

A piece of stone shot at Bao Chen’s hand out of nowhere, and went through his palm directly. The dagger dropped on the floor and blood started pouring off immediately.

“Who is going to cut off the tendons and blood vessels of my brother? Did you have enough of your damn life?” A harsh voice came from outside, revealing the rage and aggressiveness of its owner.

“Big brother Li is here! He’s here!” Joy flushed on King Kong’s face as he heard the aggressive voice from outside.

He couldn’t be any more familiar with that voice, it was from Big brother Li. No one else could be as rampant as him.

As he expected, Qingfeng Li walked in with Qiang Zhang, with a piece of stone in his hand. A piece had already shot through Bao Chen’s palm.

“Who the hell are you dude?” Bao Chen turned down his face and asked.

“I am your goddamn grandfather.” Qingfeng Li replied with a gallant laughter, as aggressive as usual.

He never showed his rage and aggressiveness when he was with Xue Lin, because Xue Lin was his wife. Only cowards would show off in front of his wife. He had his dignity and aggressive attitude, which were only for his enemy.

“I will give you a chance to survive only if you let King Kong go and get on your knees to apologize.” said Qingfeng Li while walking forward ragingly.

People around were all astonished at that wildly domineering voice, since they had never seen anyone like that except for Bao Chen.

“What if I don’t?” Bao Chen shook his head and refused.

If he obeyed Qingfeng Li, got on his knees and made an apology in front of so many people, then how could he ever be able to stay in Eastern Sea City or convince others of his authority.

In order to receive respect from others in this society, dignity was absolutely necessary, especially for a leader like him.

Whoosh!

Qingfeng Li bent his finger and shot the second stone, which went through Bao Chen’s other palm as fast as a flash of lightning.

Bao Chen gave out a miserable cry. He could hold the pain when one of his palms got injured. However, the extreme pain from both of his palms went so much beyond his tolerance that he started screaming desperately.

How was he this powerful! Astonishment flashed across his eyes. He was extremely impressed by the strength this young man had, who was able to cut through his palm only using a small stone.

Qingfeng Li walked up to Bao Chen, reaching his hand to Bao Chen’s throat. Bao Chen was about to evade. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it as Qingfeng Li grabbed his throat instantly, leaving him no time to struggle.

Bao Chen got frightened, his eyes were full of fear. Finally, he realized that he had provoked a devil. He wished he could beg for his life, but it was too late.

“Anyone who harasses my follower, dies!” Qingfeng Li added more strength to his hand, Bao Chen’s throats got crushed with a sound of a crack.

The light in Bao Chen’s eyes slowly faded, his body turned to the side then fell to the ground, becoming lifeless eventually.

This was what people called arrogance and aggressiveness. Nobody could survive once the y provoked this man.

Those leaders of the underground force used to think they were arrogant, however, they were far away from being able to compare themselves with Qingfeng Li.

What, Bao Chen was dead?

People around couldn’t believe in their eyes, then they looked at Qingfeng Li with terror, wondering how Bao Chen, one of the top three strongest underground force leaders in Eastern Sea City, couldn’t even take one single strike from Qingfeng Li.

Who was this young man, how could he be so powerful? Everyone was shocked but felt lucky at the same time, as it was Bao Chen instead of them that went against Qingfeng Li.

Qingfeng Li stretched out his arm to pull King Kong up, and asked, “Are you alright?”

“I’m fine Big brother Li.” King Kong expressed his appreciation with great respect.

King Kong’s appreciation was not only for Qingfeng Li saving his life, but also for avenging him by killing Bao Chen.

He heard about how formidable Qingfeng Li was, but he never expected it to go that far. Qingfeng Li ended Bao Chen’s life with great ease, which seemed as simple as killing an ant.

It embarrassed King Kong thinking of how unbeatable Big brother Li was, and what a shame that he couldn’t even take one strike from Bao Chen, while Big brother Li killed Bao Chen with one shot. They were at absolutely different levels, and he didn’t expect the gap could be that huge.

“Is there such a thing that people were having an underground force summit and planning to establish the Eastern Sea League?” asked Qingfeng Li while keeping his hands at the back.

Although he asked in a mild tone, people were still terrified by the domineering vibe. People stared at each other back and forth, remained silent. They weren’t sure how to answer the question, and didn’t want to risk pissing off the guy who just killed Bao Chen.

Sensing the silence and reluctance of the crowd, Qingfeng Li said aggressively, “Any problem with King Kong being the leader of the underground force in Eastern Sea City?”

Some people weren’t convinced with Qingfeng Li’s decision. They could hardly sit still, and dissatisfaction overflowed from their eyes.

The first person that got up was Lang Ye from the Lone Wolf Clan, he stood up all of a sudden and yelled, “King Kong doesn’t have the capability to be the leader. ”

Crack!

Hearing the disapproval from Lang Ye, Qingfeng Li grabbed his neck and strangled him.

“Is anyone else not happy with that? Get your ass up,” asked Qingfeng Li ragingly.

All the leaders there couldn’t hold in the fear on their faces. It totally freaked them out seeing both Bao Chen and Lang Ye got killed.
They knew the man they were facing right now was a heartless tough man. They couldn’t afford the results if they disobeyed him.

“I agree that King Kong should be the leader.”

“So do I.”

“You are right, King King should be the leader.” Those leaders were all shouting to show their approval.

Wang Hu was the only one kept quiet. He used to be the leader of one of the biggest underground forces in Eastern Sea City, as well as the champion of martial arts. Therefore, it made sense that he felt unfairly treated if he had to surrender.

“What about you, Hu Wang?” obviously Qingfeng Li knew Hu Wang, who was taught a lesson by Qingfeng Li because he destroyed Xue Lin’s BMW yesterday.

“Yes, I agree, I agree.” Hu Wang lowered his head, acknowledging his allegiance to Qingfeng Li.

Beggars couldn’t be choosers. He understood how terrifying this young man was, he was too weak to be his competitor. The only way he could survive was to give in.

He was the leader now and named Big Brother Kong. It would be inappropriate to call Qingfeng Li big brother Li. Therefore, he had upgraded his appellation to Grandpa Li.

“Sir Feng.” everyone bowed to him with great respect.

Chapter 285: Xue Lin Got Poisoned

 

“Hello Grand Daddy Li.” every leader in the lobby bowed and saluted to Qingfeng Li, changing his appellation to Grand Daddy Li.

In addition to the leaders, all the bodyguards standing behind started to bow down and call him Grand Daddy Li.

That was the law of jungle in the underground force society. People admired strong fists and aggressiveness, so they only obey those who were tough and vicious.

King Kong also established a new league named the “Qingfeng League”. King Kong was just the nominal leader, The real leader was Qingfeng Li.

Qingfeng Li had no interest in the expansions and battles among all the forces. Therefore, he waved at King Kong, turned around and left swiftly once he finished his task, which was helping King Kong become the leader.

He was the Wolf King of the Wolf Continent, and the Wolf Fang Clan he led was extremely powerful. Anyone from the clan would be able to kill all of those people.

The Wolf Fang Clan overran the entire Wolf Continent, perfectly completed countless tasks, protected a European billionaire, wiping out lawless mercenaries and even killing a giant monster boa in the Amazon rainforest.

In the meantime, an unannounced guest showed up in Villa No.13.

Xue Lin was having a rest inside when she suddenly heard someone knocking at the door. It turned out to be a water delivery man after she got the door.

The water delivery man was middle-aged, dressed in a blue uniform, and carrying a barrel of water on his shoulder.

“Hello, here is the barrelled water you ordered.” said the delivery man with a smile on his face.

Barrelled water?

Xue Lin hesitated for a few seconds, confusion flashing across her eyes. She didn’t remember ordering any barrelled water, why would anybody deliver it to her?

“I’m sorry but I never placed an order for that.” Xue Lin shook her head, indicating that she didn’t order the water.

It seemed that the delivery man already knew what Xue Lin was going to ask, so he smiled and explained, “This is a gift for all the residences in Noble Palace to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year.”

Hearing what the delivery man said, Xue Lin took a tumble all of a sudden. The Noble Palace was the most upscale area in Eastern Sea City. Each of the villas here cost millions of dollars, which wasn’t affordable for anyone.

Although the housing price in Noble Palace was extremely high, it provided high-class services in return. All the residents would get gifts during holidays. She remembered the gift from last year was also barrelled water. It was not about how much the gift was worth, but the cordiality that mattered.

“Thank you, please just put the barrelled water on top of the dispenser.” Xue Lin pointed at the water dispenser in the living room with a nice smile.

It was actually the right time to deliver the water, since she was running out of it now.

After putting the barrel on the top of the dispenser, the delivery man turned around and walked out. However, as he was leaving, a creepy flash crossed his eyes.

Xue Lin didn’t see the creepy expression in the delivery man’s eyes and didn’t expect anything was wrong with him.

It couldn’t be denied that the Noble Palace was the most upscale real estate in Eastern Sea City. It was developed by Family Wang, one of the Big Four in the city. In terms of the quality of the property, security and tenement services, they were all taken good care of.

It had been many years ever since Noble Palace was built, and not one single accident had happened, which really proved how experienced and professional Family Wang was in the development of real estate.

Xue Lin felt quite thirsty, so she went to get some water from the dispenser. She took a sip immediately, as she didn’t notice any problem with the water.

Water went down from Xue Lin’s mouth to her throat, finally reaching to her stomach. Her face twisted suddenly, as she felt an irritable pain coming from her stomach.

The pain in her stomach was so overwhelming that her face turned dreadfully pale, she started losing balance and vision, then she fell on the floor and fainted.

The delivery man took off his uniform after leaving the villa, he got in a black car and headed to Family Wang’s. Inside Family Wang’s house, the father and son were desperately waiting for the results. They got poisoned by the man in the black robe, if they wanted to survive then they had to do him a favor.

The man in black robe gave them a pack of drugs to mix in the water sent to Villa No.13, where Qingfeng Li lived. As long as he drank the water, then he would be dead with no doubt.

The man in the black robe told them that they could get the antidote only if they follow his instruction. In order to get the antidote, they arranged their most trustworthy subordinate to deliver the poisoned water to Qingfeng Li’s place.

The villa that Qingfeng Li lived in was in Noble Palace, which was one of Family Wang’s property, and thanks to that they knew well about the establishment there and were able to deliver the poisoned water.

It seemed like it had been centuries before the delivery man finally came back.

“Uncle Wang, did you deliver the water to Qingfeng Li’s home?” as soon as middle-aged man came back, Kai Wang asked him in a hurry.

This was a matter of his life, he couldn’t be any more concerned about it.

“Young Master, the water was delivered to Villa No.13 successfully.” the middle-aged man answered with respect.

Finally, the father and the son got a chance to be relieved hearing the middle-aged man’s words. Joy flashed across their eyes.

“That’s good, did Qingfeng Li notice anything wrong?”

“Young Master, Qingfeng Li wasn’t home at that time.”

“What? How did you get in while he isn’t home?”

“Young Master, his wife Xue Lin was home, so I put the barrel on the water dispenser.”

“Good job, after Qingfeng Li goes back home and has some of the water, then he will be dead for sure.” Kai Wang sneered, while a beam of chilling light came out of his eyes.

Unfortunately, what Kai Wang didn’t know about was that before Qingfeng Li had the chance to drink the water, Xue Lin got thirsty and had a sip of the water already.

Qingfeng Li sensed something was wrong on the way home from the underground force summit. He couldn’t tell what exactly that was but felt it wasn’t anything good.

He gave the taxi driver another hundred Yuan bill so that he could drive him home faster. Qingfeng Li started knocking at the door when he was back at Villa No.13. Nobody answered after he made many knocks.

That was weird, the BMW Xue Lin just bought was parked at the front so that meant she was home, but why didn’t she open the door?

Qingfeng Li took out his phone and called Xue Lin, but she didn’t pick it up.

Wait, I can even hear the ringtone here from the living room, then she could hear that for sure. Why didn’t she pick it up when it was ringing over and over again?

Qingfeng Li’s face turned down. What was happening didn’t seem right to him, and a foreboding thought started marinating in his mind.

Chapter 286: Qingfeng Became Furious

 

Qingfeng Li couldn’t get into the villa because he forgot to bring his keys today. However, he knew something was happening and he could not wait.

Bang!

Qingfeng Li extended his right leg and kicked the door open. His kick was so powerful that it smashed open the door right away. However, what jumped into his sight was Xue Lin laying on the floor.

“What happened to you, honey?” Qingfeng Li was shocked seeing this, he rushed towards Xue Lin fast like a sharp arrow.

He tried to wake her up by calling her name, but it didn’t work. Her face was dull black which was a symptom of poisoning.

The water was poisoned?

Qingfeng Li’s attention was caught by the glass on the floor, realizing that Xue Lin was poisoned by the water she drank.

Was that from the barrelled water in the dispenser?

Qingfeng Li took out a silver needle, dipped it into the water, and it turned black immediately.

Qingfeng Li was a highly skilled doctor, it wasn’t hard for him to tell that the poison wasn’t a regular one. It was a kind of snake venom called “black viper”, which was highly toxic. Anyone that took it would end up dying without the help of antidote.

The antidote of this kind of snake venom was the black viper’s tail. Qingfeng Li was familiar with the underworld and knew that the assassin Viper from the Skeleton League always had a black viper on him and loved to kill people with its poison.

“Poisonous snake? Must be that.” it was very smart of Qingfeng Li to detect who the assassin behind was by figuring out what poison it was.

Seeing Xue Lin’s face turning darker and darker, Qingfeng Li took out his acupuncture needles immediately, and inserted them into all the important acupoints over her body in order to stop the poison from spreading over her system.

The acupuncture he just gave was called the Nine Shots from God’s Will, which was passed on from his master. This method worked extremely well in the prevention of poison spread. However, Qingfeng Li was only able to hold the poison for three hours. Xue Lin would be dead for sure if he couldn’t get her the antidote within that amount of time.

Luckily, Xue Lin only had one sip of the water and Qingfeng Li found her in a short time, otherwise, there would be no way to save her life no matter how skillful he was.

Qingfeng Li slowed down the poison spread with the help of acupuncture, then he gave a call to Red Butterfly Yip to ask her to find out the where the poisonous snake was, as well as who delivered the water today.

“Damn you Viper! I swear I will tear you to pieces.”

Qingfeng Li sneered, and the murderous spirit inside of his body was so strong that it scared a passing fly to death. Qingfeng Li placed Xue Lin on the bed then walked out. He had to find the poisonous snake within three hours, kill it and get the antidote.

Red Butterfly Yip called back not long after he left the villa. She told Qingfeng Li that she hadn’t found out where the poisonous snake was yet, but Noble Palace was under the name of the Wang Family and it was definitely someone from the Wang Family that delivered the water.

Well done Wang Family, seems like you guys have gad enough with your life. A chilling smile showed up on his face, and he drove to the Wang Family’s place in Xue Lin’s BMW.

He knew already that all the big families in Eastern Sea City were doing some monkey business. Last time was the Chen Family colluding with the Tiger King, and now the Wang Family teamed up with the Viper.

Apparently destroying the Chen Family didn’t overawe all those people. Then he had to teach them another tough lesson by eliminating Wang Family.

Qingfeng Li went mad now, he wanted to give them a bloody lesson, that they had to pay the cost in blood if they ever dare to hurt anyone he loved.

Boom!

Qingfeng Li drove to Wang Family like he was against the clock. He had to go on the rampage, as he was running out of time to get the antidote for Xue Lin.

His car was able to surf through the congested traffic like a flexible fish. It didn’t take him too long to arrive at the Wang Family’s villa after squeezing through the crowded streets.

The Wang Family’s villa was located on the north side of downtown. Same as the Chen Family, they lived in a luxurious building as well, and both the father and the son were living there.

It wasn’t surprising that they had a state of the art security system. At the front door there stood two tall and muscular bodyguards, and there were more than a dozen of bodyguards walking around in the backyard. It was the norm for the rich to have bodyguards, as there was nothing more important than their own safety.

“Hey you, stop here. Here is the Wang Family’s property, no car is allowed to go inside.” seeing Qingfeng Li driving closer, the bodyguard shouted at him.

However, Qingfeng Li replied with a cold smile, pressed the accelerator harder and the car suddenly turned into a mechanical monster, rushing towards the front door frantically.

The two bodyguards at the front door were trying to stop the car, but got hit and were thrown right into the air. Finally, they landed heavily after making a 360 rotation in the air, and it was hard to tell if they were dead or alive.

The only question the two bodyguards had in their mind before fainting was who that guy was. Why was he so crazy, hitting the front door with his car.

With a huge banging noise, the car went through the firm front door of the Wang Family and left a huge hole. At this moment, nothing could stop Qingfeng Li from driving towards the villa.

If any director had the chance to witness what just happened, he would be shocked and admitted this was the real way to shoot a Hollywood movie. Qingfeng Li slammed open the door with his car, which was so violent.

The banging noise Qingfeng Li made while hitting the door was so loud that even the bodyguard and the Wangs in the villa could hear clearly. The first thing they saw after they walked out was a car driving through the front door, dashing around madly like a crazy monster.

“Stop your car! Stop your car!” all the bodyguards shouted at Qingfeng Li.

Qingfeng Li didn’t care what they said, a blaze of indignation was burning furiously in his eyes. He kept accelerating the car and drove towards the bodyguards. There was no time for them to avoid the fast coming winged car, as a result, they could only let themselves hit by the car. All of a sudden, the bodyguards were laying on the ground miserably, with their arms and legs missing.

The tragedy of the bodyguards didn’t slow down Qingfeng Li, he kept driving towards the father Wang and his son.

Both of their faces turned dreadfully pale. They were too frightened to move their feet, all they did was standing still and shivering. They attempted to turn around and run away from the car, but the car was so close to them that it would hit them the next second.

Insane, the person who drove the car was insane. The fear on both their pale faces showed that they never saw any crazy person like him, who would dare to hit a firm door and a group of people with his car and didn’t give a damn of his own life.

Vroom!

Qingfeng Li turned the steering wheel when it was about to hit the father and his son. After drifting at an extreme speed and making an emergency brake, the car turned all the way around and parked at exact ten centimeters in front of the father and the son.

Ten centimeters, both of them were only ten centimeters away from death. However, Qingfeng Li stopped the car at the urgent moment.

Didn’t Qingfeng Li want to kill them? He wished he could end their lives right now. But he wouldn’t be able to find out where Viper was if they were dead.

Father Wang and his son had to die, but not before they confessed where Viper was.
