Chapter 402: Free Wedding Dress

Qingfeng opened his eyes wide in surprise as he didn’t expect the Wedding Boutique was also a property under Yanzhi Pei.

She was, indeed, the richest woman in Hujiang Province, having so many properties involved under her name.

However, if the President here was Yanzhi Pei, then everything would be easy. Qingfeng could definitely get the diamond wedding dress based on his closeness with Yanzhi.

“Right, I remember you, What happen?” Yanzhi said as she felt a bit awkward. She was kissed on her lips by this guy when she was out with him in Eastern Sea City last time.

Yanzhi always had this man on her mind, but she was just too busy recently and didn’t have time to contact him.

“President Pei, well, my wedding with Xue Lin is going to be tomorrow and I wanted that diamond wedding dress. You said you were taking that dress so I was wondering whether you can give it to me instead?” Qingfeng said to the phone while smiling.

Yanzhi had said she was getting the wedding dress for her friend. Once she gives the dress to him, her friend wouldn’t be able to have it.

“What, your wedding with Xue Lin is tomorrow? Why didn’t you tell me such an important thing?”

“President Pei, I didn’t tell you since you are always busy.”

“Well, if you are going to have a wedding tomorrow, I’ll give you the diamond wedding dress for free then, ” Yanzhi smiled and said with her melodious voice through the phone.

Qingfeng passed the phone to Yan Pei and let her speak to Yanzhi. After three minutes, Yan Pei put down the phone with a surprised look.

“Sir, my President said she is going to give the diamond wedding dress to you for free as a wedding gift,’ Yan Pei said enviously.

Honestly, she had never seen her President being so generous that she made such a fast decision on giving the extravagant diamond wedding dress to someone else like this.

Certainly, 5 million might be a huge amount of money to others, but it was just a number to Yanzhi.

Qingfeng received the diamond wedding dress that cost 5 million for free by just making a phone call. This is what was called reputation.

“Honey, let’s get our photos taken,” Qingfeng smiled and said.

Qingfeng and Xue Lin would definitely want to have some memories by taking some photoshoots after getting the wedding dress.

Xue Lin nodded and went upstairs to the photoshoot room with Qingfeng while being led by Yan Pei.

They had everything you needed in the photoshoot room upstairs. They had modern scenes involving ocean, mountains, islands background, and even some ancient costumes like the ones from the Han or Tang dynasties.

Qingfeng wanted to take the photos with Xue Lin on the beach but unfortunately, they were running out of time and could only take the photos indoors.

In order to provide the best service, Yan Pei became the photographer and started to take wedding pictures for them this time.

Qingfeng chose the background with the ocean, the mountain, and the island. He was holding Xue Lin in his arms on the beach, facing the ocean while looking at the distance with joy.

Qingfeng also chose the Han and Tang Dynasty scenes after finishing the modern ones. He asked Xue Lin to change costumes for the ancient photoshoot.

Xue Lin fit perfectly in either modern or ancient costumes because of her stunning face. Qingfeng believed that she would have been an ancient beauty if she was born in the past.

Xue Lin looked fulfilled in Qingfeng’s arms while Qingfeng was kissing her on the forehead. This beautiful scene was captured by Yan Pei with her camera.

“You two look so cute with each other. Your future baby must look adorable,” Yan Pei gave her best wish to them after finishing the shooting.

She swore to god that Qingfeng was the most handsome man and Xue Lin was the most beautiful woman that had ever come in for wedding photos. They looked like they were meant to be together from the beginning.

Xue Lin’s face blushed and her heart started to beat faster.

Xue Lin became nervous once she started to think about how she was going to marry Qingfeng and sleep with him tomorrow. After all, she had no experience with those things.

Yet, she still anticipated the night she was going to spend with Qingfeng tomorrow since she also wanted to have her own baby.

Qingfeng and Xue Lin both were satisfied with the photos shot by Yan Pei. She had professional shooting skills that made her a perfect fit to be the manager at the Fortune Fate Wedding Boutique.

“Mrs. Pei, then when should we come back for our photos?” Qingfeng asked and smiled.

He wanted to get them as soon as possible since these photos would be symbols of love between Xue Lin and him.

“Mr. Li, it takes approximately two days. Please come back here after tomorrow,” Yan Pei smiled and replied.

It normally took several days for other places to print out wedding photos, and two days was already considered fast. After all, it takes time to print out high-quality wedding photos.

“Alright, then we are coming back in two days,” Qingfeng smiled and left the wedding shop while holding Xuel Lin’s hand.

Yan Pei tried her best to mark the look of these two people in her mind since she knew she would get promoted if she gets good comments from them, since they were friends with her President and she provided them good service.

Yan Pei gave them a platinum VIP card and told them they could purchase anything from the shop for free in the future.

“Honey, why is Yanzhi Pei is being so nice to you like that?” Xue Lin asked Qingfeng skeptically when they were out of the wedding shop.

In fact, she already wanted to ask when they were inside the shop, but she just didn’t since Yan Pei was there.

Even though the Ice Snow Corporation had a collaboration with Yanzhi’s Phoenix Corporation, they were just business partners. It wouldn’t make sense for Yanzhi to sacrifice her diamond wedding dress that cost 5 million to Qingfeng as easily as that.

Qingfeng freaked out when Xue Lin asked him why he was treated so well by Yanzhi Pei.

The reason why Yanzhi Pei was being so nice to him was simple: Yanzhi Pei and Qingfeng weren’t just normal friends, they had hugged and kissed in the cable car accident when they were out touring Eastern Sea City before.

Yet, Qingfeng certainly wouldn’t tell Xue Lin about this in case she became jealous.

“Honey, don’t you remember I saved Yanzhi Pei’s life at the Antique Competition in Western Sea City before?” Qingfeng explained while smiling faintly.

Qingfeng and Yanzhi Pei went to an Antique Competition a while ago, Qingfeng saved her life when Yanzhi Pei got into a car accident.

Yanzhi Pei agreed to cooperate with the Ice Snow Corporation since she was so grateful to Qingfeng.

Xue Lin nodded as she suddenly realized there was such a thing. Qingfeng saved Yanzhi Pei’s life before, so it made sense that she was being so nice to him then.

“Let’s go buy our wedding rings,” Qingfeng smiled and headed to buy a wedding ring while holding Xue Lin’s hand.

When they had just walked for several feet, they were blocked by a bunch of thugs who were called by Bin Ye.

“Dude, how dare you fight for the diamond wedding dress with me. Let me show you some bitterness today,” Bin Ye sneered coldly.

Since the diamond wedding dress eyed by him was grabbed by Qingfeng and he was kicked away in the wedding boutique, he knew he wasn’t capable to deal with Qingfeng alone. Instead, he called a bunch of thugs and wanted them to lecture Qingfeng with their fists.

Qingfeng sneered when he saw Bin Ye, “Seems like you didn’t learn anything after getting your ass kicked by me, huh?”

“Beat this dude hard for me, bro! I’ll treat everybody to a meal later on,” Bin Ye waved his hand and signaled the dozens of thugs behind him.

As long as they could kick Qingfeng’s ass, he wouldn’t be bothered paying for meals and paying for these thugs since money wasn’t an issue for him.

The thugs started to approach Qingfeng and were about to beat him after hearing what Bin Ye said. However, they lost their shit when they saw it was Qingfeng.

The head gangster sat down on one of his knees and said frighteningly, “Big brother Li, please forgive our mistake that we didn’t recognize it was you.”

This head gangster was King-Kong’s subordinate and he knew Qingfeng since he had seen him and his picture before.

Bro…brother Li? Is that him?

The other thugs also freaked out when they heard their head. They certainly knew who Brother Li was. He was the real head of the underground forces in Eastern Sea City and even King Kong was his subordinate.

The dozens of thugs all went down on their knees and begged with fear, “Please forgive us, brother Li.”

Bin Ye didn’t know what to say. He didn’t expect the thugs that he paid for kicking Qingfeng’s ass were now begging him on their knees.

“Wimps, I paid you to beat this dude, not beg him!” Bin Ye yelled at these thugs madly.

The head gang stood up and slapped Bin Ye aggressively, “You fucking fool, how dare you call us to beat Brother Li, are you tired of living?”

“Jerk, did you just slap my face?” Bin Ye held his face with his hand and couldn’t believe what was happening. These thugs he hired actually turned around and beat him instead, the young master of the Ye Family.

“Slap your face? I am going to beat the crap out of you,” the head gangster shouted out and swung his fist at Bin Ye.

Bin Ye tried to resist but the head gangster seemed to have fought a lot in the past and was very skilled. He knocked down Bin Ye with one punch and the rest of them came up and started to beat him non-stop.

“Oh my Jesus, it hurts!” Bin Ye cried out loud. His face was swollen and his body was covered in bruises. Two of his ribs were even broken by thugs. What a poor dude.

“Brother Li, are you satisfied with us beating Bin Ye like this?” The head gangster walked up to Qingfeng and tried to flatter him.

He beat Bin Ye hard because he was trying to flatter Qingfeng and hope he could forgive them. After all, Brother Li was someone that wouldn’t hesitate with killing others as long as he decided in the eyes of these thugs. He was a god but also a demon.

“Yeah, it’s alright, don’t kill him,” Qingfeng sneered and left while holding Xue Lin’s hand.

“Have a good day, big brother Li,” the head thug sat back on his knees immediately and spoke out loud.

He knew he was lucky enough to have his life spared by not getting into trouble with Qingfeng.

Indeed, he would die undoubtedly if Qingfeng found him annoying. He got more mad once he recalled he was called to punish Qingfeng by Bin Ye.

“Bros, beat the shit out of Bin Ye as long as he is still alive,” the head gangster waved his hand and ordered his subordinates.

Dozens of punches and feet were all shoved at Bin Ye. This poor little man could only scream on the floor and receive the blows.

Bin Ye knew that his body was screwed after this.

This Wedding Ring Shop was a national chain enterprise called Lucky Lucky. They had gold rings, silver rings, platinum rings, diamond rings and so many more.

In fact, the company of Xue Lin also did business with pieces of jewellery, but Qingfeng wanted to get the best diamond ring for Xue Lin, which was why he came to Lucky Lucky.

All the pieces of jewelry in the Wedding Ring Boutique were authentic, and they claimed to refund customers with ten real ones if they sold a fake one by accident. The shop had opened for a hundred years since the Qing Dynasty and had developed a good reputation.

The shop also occupied thousands of square meters with hundreds of counters and sections. Each section would be staffed by several beautiful young sales ladies.

People would tend to hire beautiful young ladies as salespeople in these types of high-end wedding ring shops so that they could attract more customers.

These young sales ladies started to sell their sections once they saw Qingfeng and Xue Lin walking in. They tried their best to sell their products since they could get a high commission from every ring they sold out as each of them worth intensively.

Chapter 404: What a Stubborn Head

 

Qingfeng frowned and didn’t pay attention to any of the sales ladies since he didn’t think about buying either a gold or silver ring, he was looking for a diamond ring.

It was certain that a diamond ring would be more beautiful than any other rings. The diamond represents love and longevity. A small piece of diamond could last forever and symbolized life long love.

All the sales ladies were disappointed after realizing Qingfeng wasn’t going to buy their rings.

Qingfeng arrived at the diamond ring department. There were two sales ladies around twenty years old, one with long hair and another with short hair. They both looked fairly pretty regardless of the length of their hair since appearance was a must for a sales representative.

“Hello, sir. How can I help you?” the long-haired girl said while putting on her red lipstick.

Qingfeng was actually heading to the short-haired girl but he was, called by the long-haired one first. Competition still existed between these two girls even if they were the only ones in the diamond department.

Both of them wanted to sell as much as they could for their commission, but since the short-haired lady just started this month, the experienced long-haired lady was always trying to get more customers from her.

“Again…trying to snatch my customers from me,” the short-haired one glared at the long-haired girl but didn’t say anything even though she was pissed since the long-haired one was always favored by the manager because she was more experienced and could reach good sales goals.

Qingfeng took a quick look at all the diamond rings and still didn’t find one he liked, he asked, “Do you have any others besides these ones?”

“Absolutely, we have the treasure of the store, the tri-color diamond ring,” the long-haired girl said.

Diamonds were divided into different levels, with different colors. The transparent ones, which were the white ones, were the most common ones. There were also pink, beige, black, gray and so on.

The one carrying more color was called the tri-colored diamond ring, and they varied from tri-colored, quintuple colored, septuple colored and so on.

It was impressive that a tri-colored diamond ring actually appeared in a city like Eastern Sea.

“Can I see what it looks like?’ Qingfeng smiled and asked.

He wanted to get the best ring for Xue Lin for the wedding.

“Sir, we only sell our colored diamond rings to our VIP clients, could you show us your VIP platinum card, please?” the long-haired girl said.

All the regular rings in the store were for everybody, but the treasures of the store like the colored diamond ring were exclusive to VIP clients and could only be viewed and bought by them.

“No way, I want nothing else but the colored diamond ring,” Qingfeng shook his head and replied.

He had checked out the whole store and didn’t find any rings he favored. He only came for the best wedding ring here.

The long-haired girl got a bit mad after hearing Qingfeng, “Sir, you’re such a stubborn head, you won’t be able to purchase the colored diamond ring anyway. Not having the VIP platinum means you are a regular client, so please go look at the regular ring sections.”

The long-hair treated Qingfeng politely since she thought he was some kind of rich guy. Now, she completely changed her attitude after knowing he didn’t even have a VIP card.

She had two drastically different attitudes to rich and non-rich clients as a salesperson in the store.

Qingfeng frowned and felt frustrated at the behavior of this girl. What salesperson would disrespect their clients face-to-face like that? And did she just call me a stubborn head?

Without acknowledging the long-haired girl, Qingfeng walked to the short-haired girl and was going to purchase the ring from her.

“Hello, sweetheart, could you show me the tri-colored diamond ring?” Qingfeng smiled and said to her.

The short-hair blushed in the face and became a bit nervous since she was called ‘sweetheart’ for the first time since she started work.

“Sure, sir, one second, please,” she was about to bring out the colored diamond ring while still blushing.

Yet, she was blocked by the long-haired girl when she turned around. “Lily, didn’t I tell you the colored diamond rings can only be viewed and purchased by our VIP clients, not by regular clients? You are not allowed to show him that,” said the long-haired girl.

The short-haired girl became annoyed and tried to argue with her, “but he is still our client, no clients deserve to be labeled and I’ll show whatever ring a client asks for.”

“Are you dumb? He looks obviously like a poor dude and wouldn’t be able to afford the colored diamond ring even after you showed him.”

“You always try to grab my clients away, this is my business. Thanks for caring, though.”

“Huh, well, then help yourself and wait for the manager to fire you,” the long-haired girl looked at the short-haired one with disdain.

She had decided to tell her manager that Lily showed the colored diamond ring to a poor client.

Soon, the short-haired girl brought out a wooden case. There was a stunning color diamond shining white, yellow and green light inside the case.

“Honey, do you want to try it on?” Qingfeng said to Xue Lin while taking the ring out.

Xue Lin smiled and put her ring on her finger. It fit perfectly, and even the design and the shine added extra credit to the ring.

“How much is this colored diamond ring, sweetheart?” Qingfeng smiled and asked the short-haired girl.

The short-haired girl smiled and said, “This ring is a bit expensive at 5 million Yuan, sir.”

Qingfeng nodded and knew the ring was worth the price for its authenticity.

“Well, can you afford that? You don’t even have a VIP platinum card,” the long-hair kept snapping Qingfeng with contempt.

She felt pissed and decided to irritate Qingfeng after seeing that the short-haired girl and him were having a great conversation

Qingfeng frowned with frustration and said coldly, “It’s not your business whether I can afford it or not.”

“What…what a rude person,” the long-haired girl was furious as she flushed in her face.

At this moment, a forty-year-old woman walked in. She wore a pair of black glasses and dressed in professional business attire, which made her look very experienced.

The long-haired girl became happy and ran towards the middle-aged woman after seeing her.

“Manager, Lily showed a client who doesn’t have a VIP platinum card even if I have stopped her, what should we do,” the long-haired salesperson began to snitch on the short-haired salesperson to the manager.

Chapter 405: Marriage Phobia

 

The middle-aged woman’s facial expression became frustrated after hearing what the long-haired girl said.

She was the manager of the shop and she told all the employees that the colored diamond rings were only available for VIP clients. Why didn’t Lily follow the rule?

Well, the experienced girl knew that, unlike the new girl, Lily, who knows absolutely nothing. Her pay cheque should be cut for this month.

“Lily, who asked you for the colored ring?” the middle-aged woman frowned and asked discontentedly.

“Manager, this gentleman here wanted to see it,” Lily replied immediately while looking panicked.

She could tell her manager wasn’t happy about that. Lily was upset since it was all caused by the long-haired chick, but she could do nothing since she knew the manager favored the long-haired girl.

“Lily, let me ask you one thing, does this gentleman have the VIP platinum card?”

“Manager, he doesn’t.”

“Then you broke the rule for still showing him the colored ring, didn’t you? I’ll deduct some of your paycheque this month. Bring the colored ring back,” the middle-aged woman said emotionlessly while frowning.

See? Your paycheck was deducted by arguing with me, huh? The long-haired girl tried to mock the short-haired girl by staring at her.

What, deduct my paycheck?

Lily freaked out immediately. She just started her job, if her paycheque was cut, she wouldn’t even be able to pay for her rent the next month.

“Manager, please don’t deduct my paycheque,” Lily begged while looking pale.

“No, I have to since you showed him the colored ring.” The middle-aged woman seemed highly rigid and didn’t give Lily a chance to explain.

She had to maintain her authority as the manager and would have to punish Lily for not following the rules.

Qingfeng felt bad for the short-haired girl since he got her into trouble by asking for the colored ring.

He decided to solve the problem for the short-haired girl since he started the whole thing.

“I asked her for the colored ring, why you deduct her paycheck?” Qingfeng laughed faintly and asked the woman.

The woman shuttered since she didn’t expect a client would stand for Lily. “This is the business of our ring boutique, and Lily wouldn’t be in trouble if you didn’t ask for the colored ring from her.” She said aggressively.

“I’m the client here, why can’t I see the colored ring?”

“Because you are not a VIP platinum member, you are not allowed to see that.”

“Then let me ask you, what company does your ring shop belong to?”

“Huh, it wouldn’t hurt to tell you, we belong to the Liu Corporation, get it? We are under the Liu Corporation of Jing City,” the woman said arrogantly as if she was far above Qingfeng.

Liu Corporation? Isn’t that Ruyan Liu’s company?

Qingfeng giggled and found it funny that it took for a while to realize the ring shop was actually under the Liu Corporation. He looked at the middle-aged woman with disdain.

Qingfeng pulled out a VIP platinum card and snapped it on the table, “Check out what this is.”

The woman was shocked while staring at the card. She had definitely seen the card as a staff member of the Liu Corporation. Ruyan had shown it when she came to the shop last time.

She had marked the look of the card in her mind since then since she knew it was only owned by Ruyan. Yet, the card appeared again from a young man.

“How…how comes you have this five-star platinum card?” the middle-age woman started to stutter while looking panicked.

“It was given to me by Ruyan,” Qingfeng sneered and said.

The woman was getting frightened this time. Who the heck was this young man who could receive the five-star platinum card from the Boss?

She started to sweat and her face started turning pale since she knew she had got herself into trouble with an extraordinary person. She would lose her job once she was complained about by this young man.

“I’m so sorry, sir. This color ring is for free for you with your platinum card,” the woman kept apologizing to Qingfeng.

Within a second, her arrogance was replaced by fear.
“Well, save your apology. But since the short-haired girl has provided a great customer service, you should raise her pay instead of deducting it. As for the long-haired girl, you should deduct hers for snitching on the short-haired girl.” Qingfeng said while smiling.

The middle-age woman turned her face around and said, “I’m sorry for my mistake, Lily, I’ll double your paycheck this month. And you, long-hair, I’ll remove your paycheck for this entire month since you snitched on others.”

Lily became thrilled after hearing what the woman said. She didn’t expect her wage would be switched to double from deducted based on a sentence said by Qingfeng.

On the other hand, the long-haired girl was regretting looking down on Qingfeng and snitching on Lily. She had lost her paycheck for this month now, though she had been working so hard for the commission. Now it’s all gone.

After Lily finished packing the color ring, Qingfeng and Xue Lin walked out the store with the ring.

The middle-aged woman walked Qingfeng and Xue Lin to the exit with respect when they left.

After finishing buying the wedding dress and the ring, it’s finally night time.

Qingfeng drove back to the villa with Xue Lin and it was his turn to cook dinner tonight. He decided to make pan-fried mince noodles since Xue Lin loved it last time.

Within a second, two bowls of steamy and tangy pan fried mince noodles were ready. Both Qingfeng and Xue Lin had chucked a large bowl of noodles.

After the dinner, both of them were watching TV on the couch while Qingfeng was holding Xue Lin in his arms. Xue Lin’s body was so soft and had mingled with some virgin fragrance.
Qingfeng became a bit turned on by smelling the virgin scent from Xue Lin, he couldn’t control himself while moving his hand along Xue Lin’s body.

Xue Lin suddenly tensed up and her face flushed , “Honey, not today. Can’t you wait till after our wedding tomorrow?” She said it in a low volume.

Xue Lin felt extremely shy and her face turned as red as a glass of red wine when she said that.

Qingfeng giggled and said, “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything to you tonight. I will wait till tomorrow night.”

Qingfeng was really respectful to his wife, especially when he heard she wanted to do it at the night of the wedding. No matter what, Qingfeng could still wait for one more day.
“Honey, why your body is so stiff?” Qingfeng felt Xue Lin’s body was tensing up and said gently.

Xue Lin said while tensing up her body, “I have Marriage Phobia.”
