Chapter 412: The Way to Save Xue Lin

 

At this moment, a lot of people came to see Xue Lin from the room outside. Xiaoyue, Wanqiu, Mengyao, Yanzhi, Hao Luo, Tianchi, King-kong, Yunchang and so many others.

They were all supposed to be waiting in the hotel for Qingfeng to pick up Xue Lin, yet after a long time without seeing them, they called him and realized Xue Lin got into a horrible car accident. They now all rushed to the hospital to see what happened.

Meanwhile, Tiangang squeezed into the room while pushing away the others. Nobody would try to bother Qingfeng now, but Tiangang had to do so since he found a way to bring Xue Lin back from the coma.

Tiangang also liked Xue Lin as his granddaughter-in-law. She was a beautiful, smart young lady and was always caring towards Qingfeng. He had a great impression of her since he met her in Jing Capital.

Tiangang had rushed to the hospital with Meier when he heard Xue Lin got into a car accident, since he knew Qingfeng must be crushed at the moment.

While hearing the steps, Qingfeng became mad. Who the heck is walking in and bothering Xue Lin when she needs good rest?

This was the best news for him today. If there was really a way to bring Xue Lin back to life, he would do anything, even if it would risk his life.

“Feng, have you heard of the Flower of God’s Spirit?” Tiangang asked.

Qingfeng frowned and answered, “I have heard of it. Seems like it is a legendary plant that could heal any nerve damage, but does it really exist?”

Qingfeng certainly knew what the Flower of God’s Spirit was. When he was still fighting in the under world, he had heard of this plant from an elder that it was a type of flower that could cure nerve damage and recover souls.

“Grandpa Chen, so you mean the Flower of God’s Spirit is not just a legend and it does exist?” Qingfeng asked while frowning.

“In the Holy Spirit Realm of Miaojiang. Since the Flower of God’s Spirit is a holy plant, it is only owned by the goddess,” Tiangang said

The Holy Spirit Realm of Miaojiang? A holy flower?

Qingfeng opened his eyes wide. He knew that Miaojiang was the most magical and mysterious place in Huaxia. There were a lot of mysterious medical skills and some hidden dark medicine.

According to the legend, the ancestor of Miaojiang was Chi You. He had once fought with the Yan Emperor and the Yellow Emperor, marking the battlefield as a historical land.

Qingfeng had left Huaxia since he was eight and came to the Wolf Continent. He had spent most of his time between the Wolf and Tiger continents. Even when he came back to Huaxia, he hadn’t been to a lot of other places beside the Eastern Sea City and Jing Capital.

The Miaojiang, Qingfeng had only heard it was a mysterious land. However, he didn’t have a chance to go there yet.

“Alright! I’m going to get it in Miaojiang right now,” Qingfeng said affirmatively.

He would have to get that plant if it was the only way to wake Xue Lin up.

Chapter 413: Heading Towards Miaojiang

 

Miaojiang had always been one of the most mysterious lands.

There were thousands of humongous mountains and Primeval Forests. The whole place was surrounded by tall trees, vines, poisonous insects and wild beasts, without a single human voice.

Besides the forest, there were also wetlands and lakes in this area. Some dangerous creatures were also hidden under there. It might be a viper, or an alligator, or something you’ve might have never seen before.

Other humans had barely stepped in this place since it is highly isolated. Even the most advanced helicopter would lose signal once it flies through this airspace.

All in all, Miaojiang was one of the most mysterious lands in Huaxia. Besides, Miaojiang hosted one of the largest cults there was. Their ancestors was Chi You, which was one of the ancestors of ancient Huaxia.

But of course, the most secretive things in Miaojiang would be those toxic insects. They were manipulated by some masters and could sneak into a human body and kill them within seconds.

After flying for 4 hours, Qingfeng and Tiangang finally arrived at a border city in Miaojiang. They bought some food and mountain tools such as a flashlight, a shovel and a rope there.

Trees were everywhere in Miaojiang. For that reason, sunlight would be blocked in some places and a flashlight would have to be used. Besides, the shovel was for digging and the rope was for building a temporary bridge for crossing between mountains.

Qingfeng and Tiangang headed to the Miaojiang after finishing buying the necessities.

Tiangang was leading the way since he had been here when he was younger and still remembered the way to the Holy Realm.

However, there were still thousands of poisonous insects such as centipedes, spiders, and vipers hiding in the mountain.

Indeed, a snake began following Qingfeng and Tiangang once they started to walk in.

He knew the danger of this place since he has been here before. People could easily die if they come in without knowing any martial arts.

Even though it was his first time entering a place like this, he had heard of the danger of these types of places. Everything sketchy could hide in the mountains, in the jungle, or in the wetland.

Qingfeng had encountered and killed numerous poisonous insects, vipers, centipedes and spiders on his way.

Qingfeng had seen so many insects like these and was familiar with them since he used to live in the jungle and the desert when he was in the Wolf Continent. Therefore, he could kill these insects easily like eating a piece of cake.

After hiking over mountains and mountains and passing across different wetlands for hours, they finally arrived at a valley.

This was a gigantic valley, at least occupying thousands of acres. It was also located at the edge of the valley while being surrounded by several old houses, which was a fairly good position.

However, Tiangang freaked out when he saw the valley. He ran into the house and found nobody there after searching for a while.

The houses were dilapidated and was full of spider webs and filth everywhere. It seems like a house had been abandoned for decades.

“Why there is nobody here?” Tiangang couldn’t believe what he saw since he still remembered many people still lived in this house when he came here decades ago.

Qingfeng started to tense up when he saw Tiangang’s face. He asked, “Grandpa Chen, did the people from the Miaojiang Holy Realm used to live here before?’

“Feng, this was the Holy Realm of Miaojiang decades ago. I was once led by a peerless master here. I thought they would still be living here, but it seems they have moved.” Tiangang said sadly.

He could tell the house had been abandoned for at least decades after looking around inside. That being said, the people from the Miaojiang Holy Realm had been gone for at least decades.

Qingfeng’s face froze after hearing what Tiangang said. They had been trying so hard and have been through so many dangers to come to this land, but now, they couldn’t even find anyone. Qingfeng felt hopeless and devastated.

The Flower of God’s Spirit could only be found in the Holy Realm, and only it could bring Xue Lin back to life. Otherwise, she would stay unconscious forever.

Qingfeng walked towards the east of the valley. He saw countless steep cliffs which were loaded with gigantic trees, vines, thorns, wild flowers and weeds in between the valley.

When Qingfeng has walked a few hundreds meters away, he heard some water sounds coming from his front.

Qingfeng became surprised. He held his breathe and walked slowly ahead.

He moved away the bush in his face and saw a green lake. This lake was not as big, it was about the size of a basketball playground. The lake was crystalized with green water though.

In the lake, there was a girl washing herself naked.

The girl was around twenty years old. She has a bright face, a high-bridge nose, a small cherry-like mouth and two sparkling eyes as if stars from the sky.

She has long hair over her shoulder, her skin was bright and smooth as if the snow lotus in the mountain. Her whole existence was like a pure fairy from the story tale.

Chapter 414: Miaojiang Saintess

 

What a pure young lady. Qingfeng was thinking while holding his breath.

Not only was she beautiful, she also carried a vibe of nobility and purity.

Yes, the vibe of nobility and purity was what she carried. This girl who was standing in the lake with her naked body seemed like a noble princess and a pure angel.

“Jerk, who are you to dare to touch me,” the girl swore angrily while staring at Qingfeng aggressively.

“Girl, I’m not a jerk. I was trying to help you since you were drowning after being bitten by a snake,” Qingfeng tried to explain while bringing the girl up to the land with his arms under her glare.

The girl glared at Qingfeng furiously as if she would rip him into pieces. But she wasn’t moving since she had nothing covering her body right now.

When they finally reached land, the girl immediately searched for her clothes and put them back on. The outfit she was wearing was a type of Miaojiang style clothing. It resembled the ones worn by the princesses from the Qing Dynasty, yet, it was more complicated with some accessories on.

The girl became more attractive once she put her Miaojiang outfit on. She was wearing a Miaojiang hat on her head which had a gigantic Pearl in the middle.

However, even though the girl was pretty, her aggression didn’t disappear once she started to speak. “You defiled my holy body, I’m going to kill you.”

Qingfeng frowned confusedly when he felt the girl’s anger, he asked with frustration, “Hey, I mean, I was coming to the lake to save your life after you were bitten by the snake. Why are you trying to kill me?”

“Well, do you mean this little one here?” The girl sneered and waved, and a little green snake suddenly appeared on her hand and started to lick her hand affectionally.

Qingfeng was shocked when he saw this scene. He could tell the little green snake was a poisonous creature that carried fatal venom, yet, it was now staying obediently still on the girl’s hand like a pet.

“Let me tell you, this is my pet snake. And I have to kill you since you not only saw my naked body, but you had also defiled me,” the girl said with killing intent.

She wanted to kill Qingfeng when she was naked, but she couldn’t since it wasn’t convenient. Now, she could finally do it after putting her clothes on.

The girl took out a dagger and jumped as fast as a snake. She appeared right in front of Qingfeng in a second. She then shoved her dagger harshly towards Qingfeng’s heart.

This girl was a supreme fighter. Qingfeng became shocked since he assumed she was at most an S level elite.

“Wait! Don’t kill Greeny,” the girl yelled out while looking panic.

Greeny was the name of this little snake. It was the girl’s pet. They were good best friends, spending lots of time together over the years.

Honestly, the little snake moved so fast and could attack people severely. People normally wouldn’t be able to fight against it. However, Qingfeng knocked it down with only one hand.

Monster…this was a monster.

At this moment, the girl has realized the guy in front of her was the most powerful person she has ever met.

“This little snake is going to kill me with its venom. Why shouldn’t I kill it, huh?” Qingfeng threatened with anger as he frowned.

To be frank, Qingfeng was kind of mad about this girl since he tried to save her from drowning, he didn’t expect she actually ended up trying to kill him for being kind?

Qingfeng frowned and felt frustrated after hearing her threats. He would’ve already smashed their heads if he was threatened by somebody else. Yet, he decided to control himself since she was Ziyi and he needed her to do him a favour.

However, it would be impossible for him to release the little green snake since he also wanted the Flower of God’s Flower.

Chapter 415: Negotiating with the Saintess

 

“I can let Greeny go as long as you could give me one thing, Saintess,” Qingfeng said while sneering.

Ziyi’s face suddenly turned dark and she stared at him angrily since nobody had ever dared to negotiate with her. This dude was the first one.

Yet, Ziyi knew this young man had some great strength that she wouldn’t be able to contend against him. She had no choice but to try to listen to what he asked for in order to save Greeny.

“Tell me, what do you want,” Ziyi asked while laugh faintly.

Her voice was quite melodious, it even carried sense of purity like herself.

“I need the Flower of God’s Spirit. I’ll leave your Greeny alone as long as you give me that,” Qingfeng said affirmatively while staring at Ziyi.

The Flower of God’s Spirit was the only reason why he came here for. He had to get it before going back.

The Flower of God’s Spirit?

Ziyi suddenly looked shocked while sparks of fire flashed in her eyes. The Flower of God’s Spirit was the Holy Flower in Miaojiang. How could she give such an important thing to a random dude?

“I’m sorry, the Flower of God’s Spirit is our holy flower. We would never give it to strangers. Besides the Saintess, nobody else, not even people from Miaojiang, have access to that thing,” Ziyi shook her head and rejected Qingfeng’s request.

Qingfeng sneered and said, “Well, if you can’t give me the Flower of God’s Spirit, then I am sorry that I have to kill this little green thing.”

Qingfeng slightly twisted the green snake. Immediately, the green snake started to cry and scream. Its body started to bleed and it kept twisting its body even though it couldn’t get out of Qingfeng’s hands.

While Ziyi was trying to save Greeny, Qingfeng took over her dagger and pointed it right at her neck instead, “I’ll end your life if you move one more time.”

“I’m the Miaojiang’s Saintess, you dare kill me?”

“I’ve told you I want the Flower of God’s Spirit. I’ll kill you if you don’t give it to me.”

“You wouldn’t get it even after killing me. We have many elite fighters in Miaojiang.”

“If I am able to get it in Miaojiang, then I’ll smash this realm to get it. I’ll destroy whoever is in my way to get the Flower of God’s Spirit,” Qingfeng yelled aggressively while his face turned dark.

His voice wasfollowed with a murderous chill which had gathered after he had killed so many people. The chill could penetrate through one’s bone.

Ziyi’s face turned pale and she started to shiver since she could feel a strong murderous aura from Qingfeng. She understood that this young man must have ended countless lives.

At this moment, Ziyi believed whatever Qingfeng had said since she was pretty sure that he wouldn’t hesitate to kill her for the Flower of God’s Spirit .

“I’ll give you the Flower of God’s Spirit if you leave Greeny alone,” Ziyi said while rolling her eyes.

Qingfeng then released Greeny and threw it away once he heard Ziyi. Greeny twisted itself in the air and quickly returned to Ziyi like a flash and stared at Qingfeng in fear, with green eyes.

Even though Greeny was a strong venomous viper, it was as vulnerable to Qingfeng as a baby wolf in front of the wolf king.

“Alright, now give me the Flower of God’s Spirit ,” Qingfeng sneered and said to Ziyi.

“Sorry, I don’t have that,” Ziyi said as she put Greeny under her clothes.

“You don’t have that? Were you lying to me?” Qingfeng asked.

Ziyi stepped back in fear when she felt the aggression from Qingfeng. “I’m not lying, I really don’t have the Flower of God’s Spirit with me.”

“Doesn’t the Miaojiang’s Saintess carry the Flower of God’s Spirit? How dare you lie to me!”

“You might not be familiar with Miaojiang. The Flower of God’s Spirit is held by the Saintess indeed, but I’m not yet the actual Saintess.”

“What do you mean by you are not yet the actual Saintess,” Qingfeng asked further, not suppressing his aggression.

Ziyi smiled lightly and explained, “Miaojiang is divided into the South and the North. I’m the Saintess from the North, but there is also another Saintess from the South. Tomorrow will be our battle to obtain the title of the real Saintess for the entire Miaojiang and get the possession of the Flower of God’s Spirit.”

Qingfeng had never heard of such saying, but he seemed to believe what she said based on her expression. The Flower of God’s Spirit would only be granted to the real Saintess after the battle between two Saintesses from different regions of Miaojiang.

“I can tell you are powerful with your martial arts, as long as you beat the Saintess from the South and help me become the real Saintess, I will give you the Flower of God’s Spirit you are looking for.”

Qingfeng hesitated for a while and thought that this idea could work as he needed the Flower of God’s Spirit while Ziyi needed to win the battle. The contract between them has, then, been established.

Qingfeng got to know from Ziyi that each Saintess from the North and the South could assign three people to battle and the team who won would be allowed to have the Flower of God’s Spirit and dominate the Holy Realm.

Qingfeng told everything to Tiangang after he found him in the valley with Ziyi.

Tiangang knew that Qingfeng was telling the truth for the case of the battle between the two Saintesss. He supported Qingfeng immediately with his plan of getting the Flower of God’s Spirit.

In Ziyi’s mind, Qingfeng was a monster. He was way stronger than those seniors in her clan.

The valley was, indeed, so gigantic that it occupied thousands of acres of lands. There were also hundreds of houses inside, inhabited by people from the Holy Land. Both people from the North and the South lived there together, but the land was exclusive to the seniors and core children. Regular people wouldn’t be allowed to live there.

Qingfeng looked ahead and saw two people sitting in front of the South side. One of them was a charming woman. She had a seductive look yet carried some evil intentions. Her skin was excessively bright which was the complete opposite of Ziyi.

Her name is Xiaoyao Miao, the Saintess of the South, and was literally like her person, seductive and evil.

On the side of Xiaoyao, there were two people sitting by her. One of them was a bald elder who was accompanying Xiaoyao for the battle. The other seat, though, was empty. The person hadn’t arrived yet.

“Saintess, all three people from the North have arrived, why are we still missing one? When is he going to be here?” The bald elder asked.

“Elder, he is too uncontrollable and proud, but I think he will come since he promised my mother,” Xiaoyao smiled and said.

The bald elder exhaled his breath after hearing what she said. That dude was indeed a powerful and invincible existence. They believed they will definitely win the match as long as he was with them.

The host was the head of the clan. He was an eighty-year-old man full of grey hair. Even though he was old, he walked as hard and fast as a young man. The intense vibe that mingled around him also made him out as at least an SS level fighter.

“I guess everyone understands the rules of this Saintess’s battle. The South and North team will start a battle between each of the three people. The winner will become the final Saintess and claim ownership of the Holy Flute and the Flower of God’s Spirit.”

Even though the elder was old and was covered with grey hair, he spoke so loud that even people from several miles away could clearly hear him.

After the head of the clan finished his introduction, Xiaoyao, as the Saintess from the South had jumped up on the arena and stared at Ziyi, the Saintess from the North provocatively.

While facing the provocation of Xiaoyao, Ziyi merely laughed at it and continue to walk up to the arena.

They used to see each other a lot and seemed to have a really bad relationship. They started to fight as soon as they reached the arena.

Ziyi shoved her dagger towards Xiaoyao after arcing it in the air like a flash. Meanwhile, Xiaoyao also took out a bone stick and started to swing against Ziyi’s dagger.

Even though both of them were females, their level of strength was tremendous and had at least reached the S level. They, indeed, deserved their titles as Saintesses.

They moved way too fast. People were getting more and more excited while watching them. Some young people started to yell and cheer for their side.

Ziyi was pure and innocent, Xiaoyao was sexy and aggressive. Both of them were popular with their own charismas. People from the North favored Ziyi while people from the South favored Xiaoyao.

Although Ziyi was powerful, she followed rules and had straight attacks. On the other hand, Xiaoyao tended to use tricks and attack Ziyi’s weak body parts, which bothered her a lot.

They had been fighting non-stop and still didn’t achieve a result. After hundreds of tricks, both of them released their poisonous pets. Ziyi released her Greeny while Xiaoyao released a centipede.

Both Greeny and the centipede were toxic, it would be hard for them to win against each other.

When both Saintess had already reached the hundredth attack, Xiaoyao pretended to fall down on the floor. While Ziyi bended down and tried to put her dagger against Xiaoyao’s throat, something drastic suddenly happened.

Xiaoyao took out a bag of unknown powder from her arms and threw it to Ziyi’s face. That was a type of special limestone powder which could temporarily blind one’s vision and cause extreme pain to their eyes.

Ziyi could neither feel nor see anything other than burning stings in her eyes. He wouldn’t expect this Xiaoyao would actually attack her in such a sneaky way.

Meanwhile, Xiaoyao stood back up and hit Ziyi out of the arena with one punch.
“First round, Xiaoyao, the Southern Saintess won,” the clan head frowned and announced the result reluctantly.

Even though he was not a fan of sneak attacks, he had no choice since Xiaoyao was indeed the winner of this round. Nobody would waste their time to fight honorably in reality. Therefore, the head of the clan still announced Xiaoyao as the winner even if he didn’t like the way she behaved.

“Xiaoyao Miao, you are a loser to sneak attack me like that as a Saintess,” Ziyi stood under the arena while yelling at her furiously.

“Ziyi Miao, the winner will always be the winner and the loser will always be the loser. I will be the final Saintess in Miao Jiang,” Xiaoyao said with pride and arrogance.

“Xiaoyao, it’s too early to be happy now. You only won the first round, we still have two more rounds,”

“Ziyi, we are taking the best out of three, we only need to win one more round and this game will be over.”

“You better hold on to your arrogance! I will beat you eventually.” Anger had spread all over Ziyi’s face.

Ziyi returned to her seat on the North side madly. “We have two more rounds left, you guys have to win! Otherwise, Xiaoyao would become the Saintess and she would get the Flower of God’s Spirit.”

“Don’t worry, we will win in the next two rounds,” Qingfeng smiled faintly and said with confidence.

He would certainly be careful since whether they would obtain the Flower of God’s Spirit would completely depend on this game. However, he was confident about himself as well as Grandpa Chen in terms of their strength.

Chapter 417: Lion Demon King

 

“Who is going first for the second round?” Ziyi Miao asked Qingfeng and Tiangang Chen. Her face was still ghastly pale.

There was residue of the powder on her face. She felt really uncomfortable; if it was not for the competition, she would definitely take a shower.

“I’ll go,” Tiangang Chen said with a light smile as he made his way to the battle arena.

He was one of the top 10 fighters of the Capital. His power was immense. How could the teacher of the number one demon king be an ordinary person?

The candidate from Southern Miaojiang was a bald old man who was a level S fighter.

Tiangang Chen and the bald old man walked up the battle arena and started the battle.

The bald old man’s right hand turned into an eagle claw. There was a piercing sound as he clawed towards Tiangang Chen.

Tiangang Chen smiled faintly as his hands became wind blades and he sliced towards the old man’s claw.

There was a loud boom as the hand and claw collided. Tiangang Chen did not budge an inch while the bald old man’s expression changed as he took a few steps back.

Clearly, Tiangang Chen had won the exchange.

The bald old man narrowed his eyes. He knew that he has met a strong enemy. Instantly, he gathered all his might into his claws. There was a green hue around his hands as he clawed towards Tiangang Chen.

Tiangang Chen smiled coldly and gathered all his might onto his wind-edge palm, and it actually formed ten images of his palm.

That was the sign that he has achieved the Wind-edge Palm. His palm strikes could slice through the air.

Katcha!

The bald old man’s eagle claw was instantly sliced by Tiangang Chen’s Wind-Edge Palm. Then, Tiangang Chen fiercely pursued the bald old man. The bald old man was no match for Tiangang Chen so he released his poisonous toad. However, he was still knocked out Tiangang Chen with a slap.

After 30 strikes, Tiangang Chen slapped the bald old man out of the battle arena and ended the battle.

Even though the bald old man was very strong and even used his poisonous toad, he was still no match for Tiangang Chen.

The bald old man returned dejectedly to Xiaoyao Miao’s side. He said in a low voice, “Saintess, I was defeated.”

Xiaoyao Miao nodded lightly and said, “It’s not your fault. The elder is very strong. He must be a foreign aid who was sought out by Ziyi Miao. There is no rush, Lion Demon King is almost here. He will definitely be able to defeat the young man.”

Lion Demon King?

Then, a tall muscular man with a beard walked into the room. He wore a piece of leather and held onto a spiked club.

“Uncle Lion, it’s great that you are here. We have lost one round and won one round. I will depend on you for the third round,” Xiaoyao Miao said happily.

She knew that she would definitely win the third round if her Uncle Lion was here. The title of “Saintess” would go to her.

Lion Demon King was stunned. He asked, “Who are you?”

Through the discussions of the spectators, Qingfeng was already aware that this powerful man was called Lion Demon King. He was the number two Demon under his father’s rule, second only to his teacher, the Wind Demon.

“My name is Qingfeng Li, I am the son of the Great Conqueror, Third Master of the Li Family,” Qingfeng said calmly as he looked at the powerful middle-aged man.

The Lion Demon King was stunned. He carefully examined the young man and realized that he heavily resembled the Great Conqueror.

Then, a familiar voice sounded, “Lion, long time no see.”

When he heard the familiar voice, Lion Demon King turned and looked towards the Northern Miaojiang area. He saw Tiangang Chen instantly. He naturally recognized the housekeeper of the Li Family.

“Housekeeper, why are you here?” Lion Demon asked with surprise. His eyes were filled with puzzlement.

He knew that Tiangang Chen was the housekeeper of the Li Family. He should be in the Capital. Why was he at Miaojiang?

“Lion, let me tell you, he is the son of the Great Conqueror,” Tiangang Chen said lightly as he pointed at Qingfeng.

A flash of emotion appeared in Lion Demon’s eyes. His entire body trembled with excitement.

Lion Demon King could see a flicker of the Great Conqueror from Qingfeng. Since the housekeeper said that Qingfeng was the son of the Great Conqueror, it must be true. The housekeeper would not lie to him about a matter like this.
