Chapter 581: Qingfeng Come to Rescue

Jingyi raised her brows, being pissed off after hearing what Qingfeng said. Who was she? She was the host of the Eastern Sea TV Station, also as known as the Poisonous Tongue. Only she would get the chance to criticize others, never the other way around.

“You are the one that needs a man,” Jingyi became a billionaire since her corporation had been growing very fast.

Qingfeng smiled faintly, “Sorry, I am not gay and I will never need a man. But are you sure? You seem to have a serious endocrine disorder due to lacking men for a while.”

Qingfeng was not afraid of being sarcastic at all. He could criticize the heck out of Jingyi if he wanted to.

Seeing both Qingfeng and Jingyi were about to start a fight, Xue Lin frowned, “The meeting is going to start in ten minutes. Let’s just get in.”

“Huh, I have a meeting now/ I’m going to handle you later,” Jingyi glared at Qingfeng as she went into the elevator.

Qingfeng also went into the elevator, yet, he was stopped by the elevator woman.

“You can’t come in here, this is the private elevator for our president,” the woman said.

“Why can’t I go in if Jingyi Chen can?” Qingfeng asked coldly while pointing at Jingyi in the elevator.

Qingfeng felt like this woman was being discriminative since she allowed Jingyi to get in but not Qingfeng.

The woman stuttered as she was apparently caught off guard by Qingfeng. She insisted though, saying, “I said you can’t get in. Ms. Jingyi can because she is the niece of the president.”

OHHH, riding the freaking coattails? Qingfeng had completely lost his temper. Since he came to Huaxia from the Wolf Continent, he was used to the coattail riding that the younger people engaged here. Everything was all about networking, including the ones with parents, relatives, friends, and acquaintances, etc.

Jingyi looked at Qingfeng provocatively and said, “The meeting is going to start in ten minutes. If you’re late, I’m going to point out the Ice Snow Corporation in front of everyone later.”

The elevator closed and started to move up once Jingyi finished her words.

Qingfeng felt frustrated. He finally understood why people kept saying never mess around with girls. He could fix gangsters and assholes with violence but he couldn’t beat this crazy bitch since it would definitely ruin the Ice Snow Corporation.

Qingfeng tried to get into other elevators with Xue Lin and the others, but they couldn’t squeeze in since they were all occupied. They had no choice but to wait for the next one.

At this moment, a man in a suit was walking towards the elevator. He was followed by a young secretary who was around 20 years old behind him. This secretary was quite pretty, with a smooth face, fair skin, long black hair and a business pouch in hand.

The man was tall and big, though he looked slightly pale and walked with his toes tipped. It is a sign of ill-being.

“Honey, that man is Yun Wang, the president of ES Commerce,” Xue Lin said while pointing at the man.

“That’s impossible, President Wang has angina. He needs to take this lifesaver pill whenever the attack occurs.”

“I’ve said he didn’t faint from that this time. It’s from high-blood pressure.”

“Why should I trust you?” the secretary started at Qingfeng as she was not content that he slapped her pill away.

Ruyan walked up to her and said, “Ms. Wei Chen, I can promise you he is right.”

“Ms. Liu, you also came for the meeting?” The secretary asked with a shocked face.

Wei Chen certainly knew who Ruyan Liu was. Ruyan used to be the top beauty and the top rich lady in Eastern Sea City. Wei Chen invited her to come to attend the Business Meeting last year but was rejected. She didn’t expect Ruyan actually came this year.

Ruyan had seen Wei Chen last year and had a good impression of her. She said, “Wei Chen, I promise you with my reputation that Qingfeng knows what he’s doing. He can make President Wang get back up again.”

“Alright, I’ll let him do his work then. But I won’t let him go if he fails to wake the president up,” Wei Chen glared at Qingfeng discontentedly, though she still decided to trust him for Ruyan.

Qingfeng didn’t take that personally, he cared more about Yun Wang’s lifeQingfeng walked to the side of Yun Wang and took out his acupuncture needles.

He inserted the needles into Yun’s Baihui and Tianchi points, and the temple on his head. After that, he slightly twisted the tail of the needles as he tried to transfer his energy to Yun’s body. “President, are you up?” Wei Chen asked worriedly once she saw Yun Wang wake up.

Xue Lin nodded and smiled, “Yes, I am coming on the behalf of the Eastern Sea Jewelry industry.”

Qingfeng was smart enough to catch the chance to introduce Xue Lin to Yun since he had just rescued him.

“President Wang, I forgot to tell you that Xue Lin is my wife. We are coming for the conference together today,” Qingfeng said while smiling at Yun Wang.

Yun suddenly changed his facial expression as he looked more grateful towards Xue Lin. He would definitely show more respect to Xue Lin since Qingfeng saved his life.

Yet, Ruyan felt reluctant when she saw these three people engage in great conversation. How could she be ignored?

“Ms. Liu, didn’t you reject the conference invitation last year? What changed your mind this year?” Yun Wand asked with shock.

Meanwhile, the elevator girl freaked out when she saw Yun Wang and Qingfeng were chatting. She would lose her job once Qingfeng snitched on her that she didn’t let him take the elevator.

However, she thought way too much. Qingfeng didn’t have much time for an elevator girl since he was a busy man.

Since Qingfeng saved Yun Wang, Xue Lin, Ruyan, Ziyi and him were all invited by Yun Wang to take the elevator and went up to the fifth floor.

Chapter 583: Yun Wang was Furious

 

As Jingyi asked Qingfeng to leave, everybody in the lobby cast a ridiculing look at Qingfeng. Jingyi, after all, was well-known for her criticism.

Jingyi felt embarrassed once she heard what Yun Wang said. She was just asking trying to dismiss Qingfeng with his uncle’s reputation but now she got herself into this awkward mess.

“Uncle, Qingfeng was late. Why not make him leave?” Jingyi whispered beside Yun Wang.

“Jingyi, do you know why he was late?”

“Uncle, how would I know.”

“Jingyi, listen. I was saved by Qingfeng when I had just fainted at the elevator. Qingfeng saved me, and now you are telling him to leave? Are you serious?” Yun Wang glared at Jingyi as he was pissed.

What? Qingfeng saved my uncle’s life?

Jingyi looked surprised as she finally figure out that the reason why Qingfeng was late was why her uncle is trying to keep him.

Yun Wang is the commerce president in Eastern Sea City. He was definitely in a higher position than Jingyi, who was only exploiting his power and influence.

Yun Wang put down the mic and no longer paid attention to Jingyi. He walked up to Qingfeng and Xue Lin and invited them to sit beside him.

Everyone became jealous, seeing how Yun Wang treated Qingfeng. As you may know, the commerce president could have a tremendous effect on many companies with his authority and power.

The Commerce Conference, also known as a reunion meeting, was where businessmen gathered together and discussed things about business and collaborations.

“Qingfeng, I want to be the vice president so can you vote for me?” Ruyan walked up to Qingfeng and asked.

“Whatever, I wouldn’t vote for you to be the vice president,” Qingfeng shook his head with determination.

Ruyan looked frustrated since she knew Qingfeng wouldn’t change his mind. She had no choice but leave after throwing him a glare.

Xue Lin walked to Qingfeng as soon as Ruyan left. “What did that whore say to you?”

“Honey, don’t be too harsh to her. Ruyan is not a whore,” Qingfeng frowned and tried to speak for Ruyan.

Xue Lin got frustrated, “Huh, she kept flirting with you, even though you are already married. Remember to vote for me in the Vice president selection later.”

Qingfeng wasn’t going to vote for Xue Lin as he didn’t want her to be worn out, yet he eventually did since he was persuaded by her.

“Now, let’s start the poll for the Commerce Vice President. I believe you all already have a candidate in your mind to vote for.” Yun Wang smiled faintly while announcing the plans to the audience.

Each person had a card and they would write their ideal candidate on the card and drop it in a box.

The poll was over in half an hour. Jingyi started to count the names and numbers nervously. Finally, Xue Lin was voted to be the Vice President. Ruyan only had one vote less, which was the one from Qingfeng.

Xue Lin was content. Compared to becoming the Vice President, the happiness came more from the satisfaction that Qingfeng voted for her instead of Ruyan.

Although Ruyan felt slightly down that she lost the chance to be the Vice President, she felt better after thinking that Qingfeng didn’t vote for her because of her pregnancy and her baby.

Song Hu tried to slap Ziyi once he finished cursing. Yet, how would this ordinary human being be able to do anything to Ziyi?

Ziyi slapped Song Hu harshly, making him spin several times on the same spot.

Everyone started to gather and discuss when they saw the chaos.

“Who is that chick? How could she be so rude to slap other people like that?”

“I remember she came with Qingfeng Li, they might be together.”

Qingfeng nodded and approved Ziyi’s decision. Ziyi was his servant, so her hand certainly could only be held by him.

“Qingfeng Li, is she from Ice Snow Corporation? How dare she slap me!?” Song Hu yelled viciously while covering his cheek.

“You deserve it. Deal with it.”

“Qingfeng Li, I need her apology. Otherwise, this is not going to end.”

“Apology? How?”

“Like…I want her to drink with me tonight,” Song Hu said indifferently yet with a filthy tone.

Song Hu had his plan. Once Ziyi drinks with him tonight, he could make her drunk and…

Ziyi shivered as she felt touched. She truly believed her decision was right after being treated by a man like this.

Everyone was offended by the fact that Qingfeng hit someone in the lobby. Yet, none of them jumped out to criticize him since they freaked out once they saw Qingfeng’s facial expression. After all, nobody wanted to be the second Song Hu.

Meanwhile, Jingyi, as the conference host, also almost peed her paints. She didn’t expect Qingfeng was as violent. She freaked out by the fact that she just mocked Qingfeng a while ago. Luckily, she was blessed from only getting mocked back by him instead of getting beaten.

The conference had officially ended once everyone finished their lunch. All the CEOs gradually left one-by-one.

Qingfeng left the mansion with Xue Lin, Ruyan, Ziyi and others. Before they left, Yun Wang came out with them respectfully and reminded Qingfeng to be careful of Song Hu. He was a man who tended to hold deep grudges.
