As a super-class force of the ancient martial arts world, the Ghost King Palace was undoubtedly one the most powerful existences.

The Ghost King Palace, along with the Sword Pavilion, the Hundred-flower Palace, and the Fiery Emperor Palace, were all super-class forces of Huaxia. Super-class forces all had connections to self-cultivators, including the Ghost King Palace.

First-class martial forces didn’t have access to self-cultivators, but super-class forces did. There were even self-cultivators amongst the super-class forces.

“Hell King, did you catch Ruyan Liu?” Sky Ghost Elder asked coldly, sneering. His voice was chilling as if he was sent from hell, making people shiver.

“Master, I have brought back Ruyan Liu. She’s in the next room.” Hell King said respectfully, nodding.

Hell King’s previous master was Ghost King. Later on, however, he arrived at a cave unintentionally just as Sky Ghost Elder was practicing. The latter was impressed by Hell King’s incredible talents and taught him the ways of a self-cultivator.

Hell King was very bright. After he was taught self-cultivation, he had already reached the semi-True Spirit Realm; incredibly impressive.

Last time, when several major ancient martial clans of Tianjing City attacked Qingfeng Li trying to kill him, Xianzhi Qin from the Fiery Emperor Palace had called Old Qin in order for him to save Qingfeng Li. However, Old Qin was stopped and killed by Hell King.

This time, Hell King kidnapped Ruyan Liu and brought her directly to the Ghost King Palace. Not only as retaliation towards Qingfeng Li, but in accordance to the wishes of his master, Sky Ghost Elder, as well.

Sky Ghost Elder wanted Qingfeng for the dragon blood in Qingfeng Li’s body. He wanted to devour the dragon blood which was why he had instructed Hell King to abduct Ruyan Liu.

“General Sky Ghost, according to recent news, Qingfeng Li had won the Dragon Continent Ancient Martial Arts Competition, sweeping through the entire ancient martial world. He is incredibly powerful.” Ghost King said respectfully, furrowing his brows.

Ghost King owed most of his accomplishment to Sky Ghost Elder. Although he lost his disciple, Hell King to Sky Ghost Elder, he was too afraid to be angry. He still spoke respectfully.

“Ghost King, that’s exactly why I’m luring him to Ghost King Palace.” Sky Ghost Elder said coldly, his eyes deadly.

He had laid out the ‘Sky Ghost Battle Array’ at the Ghost King Palace. It was a battle array of the spirit levels, only usable by self-cultivators. The intent was to use this to trap Qingfeng Li.

Although Sky Ghost Elder was a self-cultivator, he was very much aware of Qingfeng Li’s powers. People who possessed dragon blood also possessed bloodline powers. He was going to eat Qingfeng Li’s flesh and blood from inside the Sky Ghost Battle Array. That would increase his own cultivation powers.

The hospital bed was for Ruyan Liu, and it was Alice who was accompanying her. The number 7 was left by Alice.

The Wolf Fang Clan once roamed the Wolf Continent, sometimes separating themselves from each other in order to kill enemies. However, the use of cellphones was dangerous as it would reveal their whereabouts. Instead, they wrote numbers on specific places, these numbers were a secret code system, representing different individuals. Other than the members of the Wolf Fang Clan, no one else knew of its meaning.

Number 7?

Qingfeng Li’s eyes became heavy. July was the time of the ghost festival, where ghosts came out to play. Alice had left the number 7 to inform him of the enemy’s connection to the word ‘ghost’.

“Come on, go to Ghost King Palace with me.” a grim smile appeared on Qingfeng Li’s downcast face. Qingfeng Li got on a helicopter and headed towards Tianjing City with all the members of the Wolf Fang team.

“What’s the point of keeping you since you don’t know where it is.” Qingfeng Li sneered, reaching for his sword and cutting off his head instantly.

By that moment, dozens of strong guards in the Ghost King Villa were all killed. In the air, it stank of nose-piercing gore and sanguine.

“Daoist, Bald Man, Death God, find the entrance to Ghost King Palace for me, even if you have to dig three feet under the ground.” as soon as Qingfeng Li gave his command, everyone started looking for the entrance to the Ghost King Palace.

“Hell King, you will pay the price for what you did. You have to die today.” Qingfeng Li showed a cold smile, killing intent covering him.

Hell King was already sentenced to death in Qingfeng Li’s heart. He had to kill Hell King today.

Qingfeng Li stopped looking at Hell King, as he knew that his main goal now was to break down the Sky Ghost Battle Array. He could kill Hell King only if he gets out of the array.

The disciples of the Luo Family screamed miserably again. The disciple who had his palm eaten earlier was swallowed by the ferocious ghost directly, dying tragically in the array.

Hearing this, joy appeared on Niching Luo’s face, but soon it turned upset as she realized that what she cultivated was wind type vital essence, not fire.

“Don’t worry, stay behind me. I can protect you.” Qingfeng Li took a look at Niching Luo and said with a smile.

Niching Luo mumbled, her charming face blushing. She had to admit that it made her happy when a man strives to protect her.

“Red Fiery Arrow.” Qingfeng Li grunted and instantly applied the second move of the Red Fiery Sword Technique. Although the second move wasn’t the most powerful, it had the widest coverage, and launches countless fire type arrows.

Seeing one thousand evil spirits ghosts, Niching Luo and the others’ faces all turned dreadfully pale. It was tough already to defend against the dozens of ghosts from earlier, but now there were one thousand waiting to tear them apart.

Not to mention the disciples of the Luo Family, even Qingfeng Li felt the pressure.

The entiriety of the grounds returned to normal, without the black fog and evil spirits.

Niching Luo and all the others became excited as they regained hope that they could be saved. All of them looked at Qingfeng Li with admiration, thinking of how powerful Qingfeng Li’s sword skills were. This man was so formidable that he could break down the array with only one sword swing.

In the room of Ghost King Palace, Sky Ghost Elder’s face turned pale, and he coughed up a big pile of blood. He set up the Sky Ghost Battle Array, but it was destroyed by Qingfeng Li now. As a consequence, the array came back to haunt him and his organs were damaged.

Chapter 915: Battling Hell King

 

Not only were the surrounding people surprised that Qingfeng Li neutralized the Sky Ghost Battle Array, Hell King was surprised as well.

Even though Hell King became Sky Ghost Elder’s disciple recently, he knew that his master was a self-cultivator and was extremely powerful.

The knife was 4 fingers wide, 1.6 meters long, and had a skull image sculpted to the surface. Evil spirits were emitting from the knife and made it extremely cold-blooded.

The knife was a gift to him from Sky Ghost Elder and was named “Ghost Blade”. It was an evil spirited weapon, the same as its self-cultivator. Spirit weapons and self-cultivators were the same; there were ones from the unorthodox path and other ones of the orthodox side. The blade was powerful because it contained evil spirits within its structure.

Qingfeng Li’s eyes suddenly drew back because he felt the coldness that was coming from the knife. It was an upper-grade evil spirit weapon, the same grade as his Red Fiery sword.

Qingfeng Li had to take things seriously and he took out his Red Fiery sword immediately. Even though he said he was going to kill Hell King, he was still cautious because there might be a self-cultivator behind Hell King.

Even though Qingfeng Li was powerful, he still had to use all of his strength. There were countless masters that were killed because they underestimated the enemies they faced.

“You have an upper-grade spirit weapon as well?” Hell King was shocked after he saw the Red Fiery sword that Qingfeng Li took out.

Hell King knew that his knife was given to him by the self-cultivator Sky Ghost Elder. Was there a self-cultivator behind Qingfeng Li as well?

Qingfeng Li could use <Fire Dragon Fist> and kill Hell King with one punch, but his vital essence would be depleted and he would become vulnerable to Ghost King and the self-cultivator.

Chapter 916: Destroying Ghost Blade

 

Qingfeng Li had already wanted to use thunder to attack Hell King, but he didn’t know how effective it would be. After all, it was an upper-grade spirit weapon.

After hearing confirmation from Dark Night Emperor, Qingfeng Li was extremely excited.

But he also knew that he only had one chance to destroy the Ghost Blade.

Qingfeng Li took out his Sky Thunder Jewel and injected it with his vital essence. He pretended to fall back so Hell King wouldn’t be alerted.

Hell King laughed, his eyes filled with ridicule. He thought Qingfeng Li was only boasting.

“Ghost Blade Three Consecutive Swings.” Hell King howled and suddenly hacked towards Qingfeng.

Ghost Blade three consecutive swings was the most powerful attack within his repetoire. He slashed out three times and formed three powerful, razor sharp energy blades. They sliced through the air and formed three big black rifts.

Explosions occurred in the sky and a large amount of energy flew towards Qingfeng Li; it was about to kill him.

“God of Thunder, please lend me your strength and strike this bastard.” Qingfeng Li said with the Sky Thunder Jewel in his hand.

Hell King laughed because he thought Qingfeng Li was still going to boast. They were hundreds of meters below ground and there shouldn’t be any lightning or thunder.

Before the smile on Hell King’s face could even disappear, a crimson thunderbolt appeared and struck towards Hell King.

Hell King was scared and screamed like a girl. His techniques were inherently evil and were thus vulnerable to cleansing forces like thunder and fire. Especially thunder, it was its biggest weakness.

Hell King couldn’t comprehend why there was thunder as they were hundreds of meters below ground, and there was even a lightning rod to prevent thunder from striking on the surface.

It didn’t matter however, because Hell King knew he couldn’t afford to be hit by the thunderbolt or he would die and evaporate.

Hell King wanted to run away, but the thunderbolt was too quick. In the heat of the moment, he threw his blade into the air.

The blade was an evil weapon and contained evil spirits. The thunderbolt was attracted by the vile nature of it and landed right onto the blade.

The Ghost Blade was broken into pieces and disappeared under the attack of the thunder.

Hell King was able to dodge the thunder because the Ghost Blade had blocked it for him.

Qingfeng Li was a bit disappointed because he wanted the thunder to kill Hell King as well but Hell King was smart to throw out his knife at the last second to save his own life.

Qingfeng Li’s didn’t perfect his attacks yet. Even though he could summon thunderbolts to attack, he couldn’t control the exact target and direction of the thunder.

If the technique was perfected, the thunder could be used as a homing missile; it could attack wherever Qingfeng Li wanted. Even though Qingfeng Li could aim the thunder at Hell King, he couldn’t do much if Hell King throws his weapon up to block the attack. After all, the thunder didn’t have its own consciousness.

Even though Hell King was safe, his spirit weapon was destroyed and lost much of its fighting power.

“Red Fiery wave.” Qingfeng Li howled and used his third attack.

A fire wave formed and rushed towards Hell King with its power and pressure.

The spaces that the wave passed through were all burned and made explosive sounds.

Hell King’s expression changed. He knew that he was like a tiger without its claws because he lost his weapon.

“Ghost Realm.” At this crucial moment, Hell King released his realm.

The area was covered by a black light and evil spirits filled the space. The evil spirits were trying to block the fire and sacrifice themselves for Hell King’s life.

A grandmaster’s realm is 10 meters while a martial artist in the True Spirit Realm would have one 20 meters in size. One had to say Hell King’s strength and level definitely increased a lot as his realm was now the size of someone who had stepped half way into the True Spirit Realm.

Even though the fire wave was powerful and countered the evil spirits, there were too many evil spirits within the Ghost Realm. It couldn’t burn through all of them in a short period.

Qingfeng Li’s expression changed because he knew how powerful the realm was. He could only fight it with his own realm.

“Gravity realm.” Qingfeng Li released his gravity realm because he thought it would be more useful than his other realms.

Like he thought, the gravity realm was able to slow down the spirits and restrict their movements.

The evil spirits were able to move freely within the realm and were able to dodge the wave, but now they couldn’t dodge it anymore because they were slowed by Qingfeng Li’s gravity realm.

Large amounts of evil spirits were stuck and were burned. Qingfeng Li decided to add to the fire because the ghost realm was too big.

“Inferno Realm.” Qingfeng Li released his realm once again.

Qingfeng Li’s plan was to slow the movements of the spirits with gravity realm first, then burn them with the Inferno Realm.

A 10 feet Inferno Realm formed and was filled with burning fire.

The spirits were screaming in pain while getting burned by the fire.

It didn’t take long to burn through all the spirits within the ghost realm, and the black smoke was burned away as well.

Hell King was pale from spitting out too much blood. Ghost realm was formed with his original life energy, he was wounded heavily because it was destroyed by Qingfeng Li.

Hell King was shocked about how powerful Qingfeng Li was. Not only was his unorthodox upper-grade spirit weapon destroyed, his ghost realm was destroyed as well.

Fortunately, Hell King became the pupil of self-cultivator Sky Ghost Elder and learned a self-cultivation training methods, or else Qingfeng Li would have easily killed him.

Hell King was scared because he felt Qingfeng Li was too powerful.

Chapter 917: Killing Hell King

Right now, both Hell King’s arms were cut off. His body was tremoring in extreme pain and he almost fell to the ground.

“I said it before, if you took your own life. then I wouldn’t touch your body. You didn’t listen to me, so look at what happened now.” Qingfeng Li’s tone was mocking.

Qingfeng Li was extremely pissed that Hell King kidnapped Ruyan Liu while she was pregnant. It wouldn’t be too much for him to kill Hell King a couple thousands of times.

“Save me, teache!.” Hell King suddenly turned around and screamed at the Ghost King Palace. He knew his teacher and Ghost King were both in there.

Hell King didn’t know that his teacher was wounded from the eradication of his Array. Sky Ghost Elder was healing and couldn’t come out.

Even though Sky Ghost Elder didn’t come out, Ghost King rushed out from the palace.

“Qingfeng Li, stop right there. I won’t allow you to kill Hell King.” Ghost King’s expression changed after he saw how badly wounded Hell King was.

Qingfeng Li suddenly swung his sword and cut off Hell King’s head, blood spraying out.

With one swing, Hell King was dead.

Hell King’s head flew up and looked at Qingfeng Li. His look was filled with hatred and regret.

“Hopefully you are not my enemy in your next life.” Qingfeng Li said coldly while looking at his head.

Hell King could only blame himself for being Qingfeng Li’s enemy. Qingfeng Li had sent every single one of his enemies to hell.

Qingfeng Li knew the best way to treat an enemy was to kill them. It was God’s job to decide where to send them, but his goal was to send them there.

“Qingfeng Li, how dare you kill Hell King?” Ghost King was pissed because Qingfeng Li didn’t listen to what he said.

Hell King was the pupil of Ghost King, and was also now a pupil of the Sky Ghost Elder; he liked Hell King a lot. Now that Hell King was killed, Ghost King was extremely pissed.

“You are the Ghost King of the Ghost King Palace? Die.” Qingfeng Li commanded coldly.

Ghost King was a man in his 50s, but he only looked to be in his 40s. The only flaw was that his face was too pale.

Hearing that Qingfeng Li told him to die, Ghost King’s face became extremely cold.

“You are the exact same as your father, Conqueror Third Master Li. So arrogant.”

“You knew my father?”

“Of course I do, it was I who personally forced him off the cliff.” Ghost King smirked.

Ghost King was pissed and immediately said what he knew about Conqueror. He wanted to lambast Qingfeng Li and piss him off.

“How do you feel now Qingfeng Li. Are you in pain? This is the price of killing Hell King.” Ghost King said emotionlessly.

Qingfeng Li was never this mad before. His heart was embroiled in anger.

“Strangle Hell Fist.” Qingfeng Li shouted and instantly used his Strangle Hell Fist.

Qingfeng Li felt it would be too nice to kill Ghost King with his Red Fiery sword. He wanted to use Strangle Hell Fist to break every bone in his body.

Strangle Hell Fist was extremely powerful. It was like a mountain was flying towards Ghost King with an extremely heavy force.

“Ghost King Fist.” Ghost King suddenly punched out his right fist. It formed a huge Skull phantom and flew towards Qingfeng Li.

A black hole was formed with the collision of the two fists. Everyone stepped back and were shocked by how powerful the two fists were.

After the explosion, Qingfeng Li and Ghost King were both standing still, but Ghost King’s Skull phantom was broken by Qingfeng Li’s Strangle Hell Fist.

Not only that, Ghost King’s fist was fidgeting in pain. Even though Qingfeng Li was similar to him in terms of power, his Ghost King Fist was beaten by Strangle Hell Fist.

Strangle Hell Fist and Ghost King fist were natural counters; like a cat and mouse. Strangle Hell Fist was part of the <Mortal Purgatory Body> and was used to counter evil spirits from hell. Ghost King’s method was perfectly countered by Qingfeng Li.

“What was that punch and why is it so powerful?” Ghost King was shocked and asked.

Ghost King and his attack were extremely powerful. Even when faced with Conqueror Third Master Li, his fist could still compete with the Conqueror’s enormous strength, but now it was countered by Qingfeng Li’s attack.

“You are not qualified to know my attack.” Qingfeng Li smiled and said arrogantly.

Strangle Hell Fist formed a huge mound of pressure and flew towards Ghost King. Qingfeng Li was extremely quick and punched Ghost King several meters back.

Ghost King was out of words because the Strangle Hell Fist countered him perfectly.

The Strangle Hell Fist was specifically designed to beat evil spirits like Ghost King; Ghost King was definitely unfortunate.
