Fiery Demon King stopped hesitating, and immediately bit into the fiery fruit. It tasted just like an apple, but when you bite it, scarlet juices containing an abundance of fire style vital essence energy begin flowing out.

The fiery fruit contained too much fire element vital essence, as much as the waves of a sea. This was the energy of a hundred years of absorbance from molten lava so the energy stormed into Fiery Demon King’s body frantically.

Fiery Demon King’s wounds were cured by the energy in the blink of an eye. The extra energy was like seismic sea waves, clashing against her lower abdomen.

At the position of her lower abdomen, the spiritual nucleus was spinning around quickly, to the extent which the unaided eye could not see it. Only the constantly spinning motion was visible and the vital energy gathered there, condensing, absorbing, and condensing again.

The spiritual nucleus was the colour of cyan at first, but as it absorbed more vital energy, it started changing, and eventually becoming red.

The cyan spiritual nucleus represented the condensed spiritual nucleus of the True Spirit Realm, whereas the red spiritual nucleus represented the Earthly Spirit realm.

“I made it to the Earthly Spirit realm! The energy contained in the fiery fruit is so strong!” Feeling the red coloured spiritual nucleus in her lower abdomen, happiness transformed Fiery Demon King’s dewy face.

She would have been satisfied with climbing up to the pinnacle tier of the True Spirit Realm, but little did she know that the energy from a hundred years of molten lava stored in the fiery fruit was so strong that it made her cyan colored spiritual nucleus evolve into a red spiritual nucleus.

BOOM!

A formidable vigour was sent forth from Fiery Demon King’s body. As she raised her right hand, a beam of red light was shot out, creating a huge hole in the top of a distant mountain.

Thump, thump, thump!

Tons of rocks fell from the top of the mountain, as if a rock slide had taken place.

Qingfeng Li got dirt all over his body, and he felt very annoyed. He turned around, and saw red light coming out from Fiery Demon King’s body. Her vigour was overwhelming, and the light radiating off of her almost blinded him.

From Fiery Demon King, Qingfeng Li felt a sense of fear, the same sense that the Pope had given off.

“You, you, you broke to the Earthly Spirit realm? ” Qingfeng Li stammered, and his heart was beating fast.

The Earthly Spirit Realm, oh my dear god, the Earthly Spirit realm! That was infinitely stronger than the True Spirit realm! Qingfeng Li was going crazy.

Qingfeng knew very well the power of the Earthly Spirit Realm. At the Tiger Continent, the Pope was at the Earthly Spirit Realm and he had trapped Qingfeng Li with a realm light veil, almost killing him.

Phuu!

Fiery Demon King raised her right hand, forming a red realm light veil and trapping Qingfeng Li right away.

F**k, why did I jinx it. I was just wishing for the she-devil to not use the realm light veil and trap me, and she instantly does it, Qingfeng Li was feeling depressed.

Fiery Demon King was arrogant, violent, and vicious, but she knew right and wrong, which was why she didn’t kill Qingfeng Li. But in regards to the fact that he hit her “there”, she vowed to get revenge.

Fiery Demon King went up to Qingfeng Li, put out her hand, and slapped his butt.

“Ow, it hurts so much,” Qingfeng Li could not move his body, so he opened his mouth wide, and pretended to be in pain.

Even though Qingfeng Li was yelling in pain, he was thrilled inside.

Hearing that Qingfeng Li was screaming in pain, Fiery Demon King was happy, and thought that her punishment was effective. She then used her snowy-white hand and started slapping Qingfeng Li again.

Fiery Demon King was no fool, and realized it after awhile, she noticed that Qingfeng Li was no longing yelling in pain but was rather enjoying it.

“Jerk, you are fooling around with me again?” Fiery Demon King bellowed.

Fiery Demon King finally realized that Qingfeng Li was letting her hit him on purpose.

“Sister beauty, keep it going.”

“I’ll stop here, I shouldn’t excite a jerk like you.”

“Alright then, but sister beauty, you have to remember your promise. Become my maid,” Qingfeng Li teased.

BOOM!

A powerful aura of strength came out from Fiery Demon King’s body. She looked at Qingfeng Li coldly, and said, “I am someone in Earthly Spirit realm, there is no way for me to be your maid. But since you saved my life, I can rejoin the ten demon kings, and protect you for a year.”

Qingfeng Li thought about it, and agreed to it. It was not realistic for a Earthly Spirit realm master to be a maid, as being a bodyguard was a better choice.

Qingfeng Li was determined to slowly tame this she-devil, so he could have an ace beside him; an ultimate master who could fight against the Pope.

An old sayings goes, haste makes waste, take one bite of the elephant at a time, and never rush things. Everything has to go through a step-by-step progress.

Chapter 971: Shipbuilding

“Sister beauty, I’ll settle for you becoming my bodyguard for one year. Since you are healed, we can leave now,” Qingfeng Li said with a smile.

Fiery Demon King nodded and left the cave with Qingfeng Li.

Though unwilling to say it outloud, she had accepted Qingfeng Li by now and was willing to protect him.

Purple Bat Demon King and the entire Wolf Fang Team were all waiting outside of the cave. Everyone had a weird look on their faces when they saw Qingfeng Li walk out.

“Well, Daoist, what’s wrong with you?” Qingfeng Li frowned and asked with confusion.

Daoist winked, walked by Qingfeng Li and whispered, “Boss, why did you scream so loud in the cave just now?”

Qingfeng Li was dazed for a second. He didn’t expect that he was heard by the Wolf Fang Team and felt quite awkward.

“Boss, were you f*cked by the she-devil just now?”

“Bullsh*t! She just…just spanked me.”

“What, boss, you were…” Before Daoist finished, Qingfeng Li quickly covered his mouth with his palm.

Qingfeng Li silenced Daoist from talking nonsense and whispered, “She is now in the Earthly Spirit Realm and can kill you without blinking. Say it out loud if you want to die.”

What the heck, Earthly Spirit Realm? Isn’t that equal to the power of the Pope? Daoist froze in shock and didn’t say another word. He realized that if he irritated Fiery Demon King, he would die from one of her slaps.

“Sister beauty, how can we leave this Fiery Island?” Qingfeng Li smiled and asked Fiery Demon King.

The plane Qingfeng Li took had crashed already so there was no way to fly off the island. Surrounded by the boundless ocean, there was no ships passing by either.

As for their phones, they already short circuited when everyone dropped into the sea. It was impossible for them to make any phone calls.

Though Qingfeng Li had no solution, he knew Fiery Demon King had lived here for the past fifteen years, so she must know a way out.

Just as Qingfeng Li supposed, Fiery Demon King said dismissively, “There are many old trees here. I once built a ship out of them in my leisure time. It can get us out of here.”

“Sister beauty, you know how to build ships? You’re awesome!” Qingfeng Li flattered her hard, but the Demon didn’t buy it. She coldly turned her head and walked forward.

Fiery Demon King was truly talented and had reached the Earthly Spirit Realm so she had her right to be proud.

An hour passed.

Fiery Demon King led Qingfeng Li and the others to the place where she had made the ship. It was a jungle of ancient trees, with a small boat in the center.

“This…this is the ship you were talking about?” Qingfeng Li was stunned, feeling like thousands of crabs were scratching at his heart.

If he had the ability to defeat this devil, he would press her on the ground and spank her hard, because the ship she built was extremely hideous.

It was hardly a raft, let alone a ship. Fiery Demon King just tied three logs up together with a piece of rope. That was her so-called ship.

Sure, Fiery Demon King was powerful enough to stand alone on the wood and drift over the ocean, but Qingfeng Li wasn’t. There were also Purple Bat Demon King and the Wolf Fang Team. Three logs were far from enough for all of them.

Seeing Qingfeng Li with a depressed look on his face, Fiery Demon King awkwardly blushed. She knew her raft was too shabby and was only enough for herself.

Then Purple Bat Demon King spoke. He said, “I’ve learned shipbuilding in Pacific Island. I can make a simple boat out of wood and ropes.”

Qingfeng Li felt quite happy hearing these words. He patted Purple Bat’s head and said, “You hid your skills pretty well, buddy. Nobody even noticed that you could build ships.”

Purple Bat Demon King grinned with a touch of pride on his handsome face. Of course, he wouldn’t tell Qingfeng Li the truth of how he learned this skill. He was once hunted down and had to hide in a shipyard as an apprentice to avoid killers.

Knowing Purple Bat could build ships, everybody felt motivated. They decided to make a ship on their own.

“Young master, you cut down trees. Daoist, you cut the trees into ten-centimeter thick planks and make them smooth. Bald man, you go collect black vines and twist them into ropes,” Purple Bat started directing the others.

Though Purple Bat Demon King was young with a soft appearance, he was quite vigorous and resolute when working. He even dared to command Qingfeng Li when necessary.

Purple Bat was commanding all the others except one, Fiery Demon King. He was extremely afraid of this devil, just like everyone else.

Actually, he had been beaten up by Fiery Demon King so many times ever since he was little that she was the source of the majority of his childhood trauma.

“Little Bat, why don’t you arrange something for me?” Fiery Demon King walked by Purple Bat’s side while speaking with a grin.

“Sis…my good sis, as you can see, there are enough hands here. You can just rest,” Purple Bat Demon King squeezed out a phony and ugly smile, feeling unspeakably upset.

How dare he arrange some work for Fiery Demon King? Who knows how she would punish him afterward?

“You, come here and help me carry these trunks,” Qingfeng Li said, pointing at Fiery Demon King.

Chapter 972: Leaving Fiery Island

 

Three hours later, a large ship was finally built in their concerted efforts. It was very sturdy with a hull and deck made from old tree trucks.

Qingfeng Li let the Bald Man smash the ship with his fist. He was quite satisfied that the ship remains undamaged. It was because these boards were made from century-old spirit tree, perfect material for shipbuilding.

These boards were tied tightly with black vines. Above it, hanging a huge canvas.

“The ship is ready! Let’s sail to Huaxia.” Qingfeng Li waved in excitement.

He wanted to go back as soon as possible to Xue Lin and Ruyan Liu. Oh, and Little Apple.

Upon hearing this, everyone was so happy to leave this middle of nowhere and head back to Huaxia, their homeland. They were sick of this place for a long time.

Qingfeng Li and Wolf Fang Sect raised up the ship, headed to the coast to leave the island. Soon afterward, they reached the seaside and then pushed the ship into the sea.

Qingfeng Li put some food and fresh water onto the ship. He had prepared these on the Fiery Island in advance to solve the eating and drinking problem.

When the hull entered the water, Qingfeng Li checked that the ship was not leaking, which proved its quality.

‘Purple Bat Demon King, you steer; Daoist, you tell him the direction. Bald Man and Death God, you two guard.’

Purple Bat Demon King walked to the front, steering the wheel, then headed forward to the sea.

It was daytime; they could not see the horizon on this vast expanse of blue ocean. Surrounded by sea water, the ship was just like an orphan, sailing lonely ahead.

Normal people would definitely lose their way in the ocean with a wooden ship. But it was not true for this ship. Because Daoist was a master of Eight trigrams of Yin and Yang, he could forecast the weather and tell the direction.

With the help of Daoist, Purple Bat Demon braved the wind and waves, sailing to Huaxia.

Qingfeng Li and the others were a bit excited about the boundless ocean at first. As time passed, they felt a bit bored. Surrounded by sea water, they could not see anything except fishes and marine monsters occasionally swam by.

The Conqueror’s finger actually referred to the energy beam formed by vital essence energy injected from meridians inside his body, just like ‘the Six Meridians’ Magical Sword’, but much more intense and powerful compared to that. An emerald light ball was moving slowly to refine his meridians. It was like his meridians were smashed by an iron hammer once and once again, and became shiny during the process.

In fact, Qingfeng Li had practiced the Conqueror’s finger during the daytime before. But he had never succeeded because he needed the light from the Conqueror Star to refine his meridians.

This time, the light from Conqueror Star happened to sprinkle his body and helped him refine those meridians. This is why he started practicing.

At the same time, not far away from the ship, a huge pirate ship was staring at them. A group of pirates was shipping towards them with their bloodthirsty eyes. Danger was approaching.

Everyone was stunned upon hearing her words and looked forward. A pirate ship appeared in front of them. It was huge, with a length of over fifty meters, which was several times larger than Qingfeng Li’s wooden ship.

On the ship stood many pirates manning cannons loaded with artillery shells on both sides.

These pirate ships were the most horrible things to encounter in the ocean next to the sea monsters. They crippled passing ships with cannon fire and plundered everything they could lay their hands on.

“Those on the wooden boat, drop your weapons and surrender,” the head of the pirates arrogantly commanded.

The leading pirate was over 1.9 meters tall, looked dark and sturdy, and had a rugged scar running across his forehead to his chin.

Fiery Demon King’s beautiful face turned cold as she readied herself to kill this pirate.

“Stand by, let me do it,” Qingfeng Li suddenly opened his eyes and said.

He had just learned the first technique of the Conqueror’s Finger, ‘One Finger Splits All’. Now he wanted to test its power.

“Alright, I saw you were practicing under the light of the Conqueror’s star.” A light of curiosity shined in the pretty eyes of Fiery Demon King.

The pirate ship approached much closer, to within ten meters of Qingfeng’s ship.

“Haha, there are two beauties there? Good! Kill all the men and grab the women” The scar-faced pirate saw Fiery Demon King and Alice on the boat and laughed wildly.

These pirates did nothing but evil acts all over the ocean.

“You’re courting death.” A murderous aura flashed through Qingfeng Li’s cold eyes.

“Kid, you look young. Are you a virgin? Need me teach you how to please women?” The scar-faced pirate laughed while mocking Qingfeng.

Shoo!

Qingfeng Li said no more, and condensed his vital essence into his right index finger. An emerald light shot right at the scar-faced pirate.

This light was fast and powerful like a flying sword, slashing into the pirate’s body in no time.

Puff!

The pirate was cut in half by the light. He looked at Qingfeng Li with a last glance of fear and fell onto the floor.

Huala!

The other pirates on that ship all stepped backward, staring at Qingfeng Li with fear as if they were looking at a demon. This young man was too powerful, cutting the scarred pirate in half from ten meters away by only raising one finger.

Killing so formlessly and stealthily from over ten meters away, Qingfeng Li’s Conqueror’s Finger was incredibly powerful.

“How powerful.” A touch of shock appeared in Fiery Demon King’s pretty eyes. When Qingfeng Li used the Conqueror’s Finger, even she was frightened.

The first technique of Conqueror’s Finger was called ‘One Finger Splits All’ because everything would be cut in half by this attack, just like the scarfaced pirate.

In another word, with his current strength, he could only use the Conqueror’s Finger twice.

Even so, this technique was still invincible in the True Spirit Realm. It would be Qingfeng Li’s last resort, just like the Fire Dragon Fist.

The Wolf Fang Team boarded the pirate ship and killed all the vicious pirates before taking over the ship and setting sail towards Huaxia.

This ship was much larger than theirs, and thus it traveled much faster.

The pirate ship had its advantage in that other ships all avoided them, giving them a quite smooth trip. Though they encountered some storms, this ship was sturdy enough to bring all of them back to the harbor city of Huaxia.

Cloud Sea Harbor was the biggest coastal city and had the largest harbor in southern Huaxia.

Qingfeng Li and others went ashore from Cloud Sea Harbor and took a flight to Eastern Sea City.

“Xue Lin, Ruyan, Little Apple, wait for me. I’ll see you soon.” Qingfeng Li looked at the clouds outside the window as he sat on the plane.

Ice Snow Corporation.

As the biggest jewelry company in Eastern Sea City, the Ice Snow Corporation was famous not only in Eastern Sea City but in Hujiang Province and all over the country.

However, a group of strangers showed up this day. They all wore red, as well as radiated a bloodthirsty aura.

The Vampire Sect had always wanted to take revenge but Qingfeng Li was too powerful. He defeated all the participants in the Dragon Continent Ancient Martial Arts Competition, vanquishing many martial arts geniuses and becoming the champion.

Other than that, Qingfeng Li also destroyed three of the five Clan Chiefs of the ruling clans, shocking the entire Pacific Island.

Though the Vampire Sect was eager to murder Qingfeng Li, he was too strong for them.

But it was different this time. The 747 plane that carried Qingfeng Li had crashed. The whole world was aware of that and the Vampire Sect was ecstatic for this opportunity to get revenge.

Since Qingfeng Li was blown up with the plane, the Vampire Sect couldn’t kill him again, but they could torture his wife.

They found out that Qingfeng Li’s wife was working as the CEO of the Ice Snow Corporation and so the young master of the Vampire Sect led his minions here to kill her to set an example for what consequences awaited those that offended them.
