The Male Lead’s Villainess Stepmother - Chapter 106
Chapter 106 – Working Hard On Becoming A Flirtatious Sl*t (2)
All of Yan Shuyu’s websurfer buddies had said it a million times, it was a lie that alcohol would affect one’s judgement, a man would not be able to perform when he was truly drunk. Yan Shuyu tended to agree with that saying. She recalled hearing the boss chuckling that night and became noticeably more passionate after he finished chuckling. That meant he was somewhat conscious.
In that case, the conscious boss had no feelings for the real stepmom, but was interested in her after she had transmigrated. Then why was that?
Yan Shuyu had given this some serious thought and theorized that what had truly moved him must be her shameless passion. As much as the stepmom was the reincarnate of the devil himself in the mind of the male lead, she was still inexperienced when she met male lead’s father. She was, after all, just a tad over 20. She might have a lot of ideas, but it was her first time going all the way out to seduce a man. In addition, this would only be the second man she was intimate with after her late husband. It’d make sense that she wasn’t doing a very good job. In comparison, Yan Shuyu, thinking that she was dreaming, would seem particularly shameless.
Who’d have thought that a fairy-tale like character whose brightness could rival that of a moon was just a normal man after all. One that could not resist the temptation of a little vixen.
Yan Shuyu couldn’t help but take a look over at Zhou Qinhe and let out a long sigh.
After she was done lamenting, she continued down the path of what must have gone through the boss’s mind: the little ferret cat who was finally able to bed the boss with both her passion and shameless suddenly turned into a little white flower who’d want to wail just from holding hands? The change was a bit too drastic – that could mean only one of two things – either she was crazy or she was playing hard to get.
Naturally, Yan Shuyu could swear that she had no intention of playing hard to get, but it was her fault for not being thorough in her actions. Her behavior had created a contradiction and left him room for imagination. That was on her.
Most importantly, Yan Shuyu, a fan of all types of cliché CEO novels, was all too familiar with this cliché story plot that must be going through the boss’s head. This was the classic development of a CEO’s delicate wife running off pregnant!
Somewhat somehow, the little delicate wife would end up in bed with the CEO. After she had woken up, the classy, cold, poised delicate wife would tell the CEO that our paths shall never cross again. Her innocence and unpretentiousness raised the CEO’s attention inadvertently.
The CEO would proceed to court her in all sorts of ways, and the delicate wife would insist on pushing him away. Somewhere in there, there was the plotline of her ending up pregnant with his child followed by a string of tear-jerking moments before the CEO and the delicate wife would finally end up together…
Picturing all that, Yan Shuyu couldn’t help but shudder. That was just too scary. Minus a few details, this was the exact arc that she was heading down. Meaning that the more she acted like she didn’t care for him and that she wasn’t afraid of his power and status, the more the boss would be like a CEO in those novels and be even more persistent in pursuing her?
No, no, no. No matter how much tear-jerking moments the CEO and the little delicate wife had to go through in those novels, at the very minimum they lived happily ever after from the ending through the extras.
In her case, if she lost to the temptation and a happy ending with the boss, there would be part II in the book where the new CEO would come online and she’d be the lead star in “Orange Is The New Black.”
She must act well now. Whatever type of girls that the boss liked, she must behave in the exact opposite way and must make him lose all interest in her no matter what.
